Brock Lesnar shocked everyone watching SummerSlam on Saturday night when he rearranged the ring using heavy farm equipment. Brock tipped over the ring using a tractor equipped with a front-end loader. Roman Reigns was sent tumbling to the outside.

The spot has been talked about all over the place. Brock has been playing up his farm life as part of his WWE character. That translated to a memorable scene in Nashville.

According to PW Insider‘s Mike Johnson, the stunt was harder to pull off than anyone anticipated. WWE rehearsed the spot on Friday. One of the members of WWE’s production team was behind the wheel at that time and it was reportedly much more difficult than it looked.

“The Brock Lesnar tractor spot at Summerslam where he pushed the ring back towards the announcers’ table was apparently far rougher and harder than anyone had planned for.  We are told there was at least one rehearsal for the spot the day before Summerslam with someone from the production team lifting the ring.”

Brock Lesnar was ultimately able to pull it off without much difficulty. The result was an iconic moment in WWE history. Brock lost the match, but his creative use of heavy machinery stole the show in the eyes of many fans.

Fortunately, the tractor bit looked great on television. Had Lesnar been unable to pull it off, it would’ve been seen as a monumental failure. Instead, it is a moment the WWE Universe won’t soon forget.
