Alexa Bliss Never Thought She’d Get Called Up To WWE Main Roster

Alexa Bliss worked hard to make herself as one most popular and in-demand female wrestlers on the WWE roster. She has been part of many memorable moments and her character work continues to shine. Bliss also thought she’d never be called up to the main roster.

Little Miss Bliss was called up to the main roster during the 2016 edition of the WWE Draft. She found great success since then as well.

While speaking with WWE on BT Sport, Alexa Bliss talked about being called up to the main roster. Bliss admitted she thought she would never be called up.

“It was a very special moment for sure. Because I didn’t think I was going to be drafted,” Alexa Bliss revealed. “I didn’t think that it was my turn. And I was in that moment where I was in NXT for three years, all these people that I had started training with had already been called to the roster. And I just didn’t think that — part of me thought it would never be my turn. And to have that moment was super special. (…) I remember the first thing I did is I texted my mom. I was like, I’m doing it. We did it.

Alexa Bliss was part of the 2022 Women’s Money In The Bank ladder match, but was not able to win it. Regardless, she will continue to work hard and make it to the top again. We will have to wait and see what the company will have planned for her next.
