Bobby Lashley Believes Austin Theory Will Set Records Like John Cena

Bobby Lashley’s WWE run is quite an interesting one, and he is one of the top Superstars in the company. He might not have his third run as a WWE Champion yet, but he is certainly here to stay. In a recent interview, The Almighty predicted which young star from the company is going to be the multi-time world champion. 

Lashley spoke with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, where he talked about his ongoing feud with Austin Theory. While speaking about his opponent, he also stated that Theory has a bright future ahead of him in WWE. 

Man, By the time he’s my age, he’s going to be on a stack of money as high as this building. He’s gonna be a super-duper star. 23 years old, that kid has everything in his future. I can see him being a multiple-time world champion. He’s gonna be going after Cena’s record, he’s gonna be after Ric Flair’s record. He’s going to be setting some records that you would never, never imagine. The kid is extremely talented. 

Bobby Lashley won the US Title at WWE Money in the Bank by defeating Theory. SummerSlam this year will pit the two against each other once again for the same title. It will undoubtedly be an exciting match as Theory is also Mr. Money in the Bank now. 

Theory is highly gifted, and Lashley is excited to watch him smash records. In the same interview, The Almighty stated that he still has lot to achieve in WWE. Obviously, Lashley and Theory will meet again, but they might cross paths for years on top of that. You can watch the interview below.
