Alan Angels was one of the original members when AEW made its debut back in 2019. As previously reported, multiple performers in the promotion have had their per-appearance agreements expire. Alan Angels recently hinted at him being one of them as well.

That is exactly what happened as the former Dark Order member’s AEW contract expired. He even wrote an emotional message following his departure. He wasn’t the only Dark Order member who left the company, as Stu Grayson also left AEW earlier this year.

While speaking with Fightful, Alan Angels talked about Stu Grayson’s exit from AEW. Angels made it clear he wants to work with Grayson in the indies, in a mini Dark Order reunion.

“I’m open to whatever. If anything, I’d like to have a match with him. Whether that be at C4 or wherever else he wants to go. That would be my main thing. If somebody wants to book us for a tag, I’m open to it. I’m still wearing the Dark Order hat, it’s not like I’m kicked out of the group or whatever. I have a New Japan show, it’s already taped, with Uno as a tag. Stu leaving was a big thing for all of us and maybe was part of all of it. I’m open to do whatever with Stu.”

Alan Angels also made his appearance at the Against All Odds event. We’ll have to see whether Angels and Grayson will team up in the future or not.
