Bianca Belair Stops Herself From Mentioning Sasha Banks During Interview

Bianca Belair had small beginnings when it came to her WWE career, as part of NXT. Eventually, she established herself as one of the top female talents in the company, and her stock continues to rise. She also stopped herself from mentioning Sasha Banks.

Sasha Banks and Naomi made headlines after they walked out in the middle of WWE Raw last month. Banks has been absent since then and has not been mentioned at all following a lot of on-screen burial.

Speaking on Sports Illustrated’s Laces Up, Bianca Belair discussed what it takes to be a WWE star. When she talked about her WrestleMania 37, Belair stopped herself from mentioning Sasha Banks.

“When I had the main event of WrestleMania with with, uhh…. at WrestleMania 37. I was the first black woman to main event WrestleMania that night. It was recongized and I wanted to be a part of it because we’re not just WWE Superstars, we are wrestlers, actors, we are icons. [Check from 4:13 to 4:41]

Banks is still listed in the internal WWE roster. WWE leadership is still trying to smooth things over regarding Sasha Banks’ situation. We’ll have to see what will become of Sasha Banks.
