AEW will invade Rochester, New York for next week’s episode of Dynamite. The company has been flying high after massive gates for Double or Nothing and Forbidden Door. A huge crowd is also expected for the upcoming Grand Slam event, but the upcoming Dynamite and Rampage taping has a ways to go before selling out.

Last September’s visit to Blue Cross Arena saw AEW draw about 7,098 fans. They are way behind that number for the upcoming return engagement. According to WrestleTix on Patreon, there are about 4,500 tickets out for the show.

The building is set up for a capacity of 7,003 as it currently stands. 4,499 tickets have been distributed. That means there are around 2,504 tickets available. Less than a week before the show, the company could see a significant drop from its last time in the market.

AEW drew a huge crowd to Detroit’s Little Caesar’s Arena for last night’s Dynamite: Blood & Guts. With no major matches or angles announced, Rochester fans seem to be cool with the idea of attending. Several injuries to top AEW stars like CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, and Adam Cole could also be hurting interest.

It will be interesting to see what Tony Khan does in the next week to try and drum up more ticket sales. Khan always loves surprises and big announcements. The fans in Rochester could have some in store over the next several days.
