AEW has certainly come a long way since its inception back in 2019. They have improved themselves in many key areas, but there is also a lot they still have yet to fix. AEW was also blasted for their random booking ideas.

Chris Jericho and Ortiz squared off against each other in a hair vs hair match on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. In the end, Jericho won after a timely interference from Sammy Guevara.

After the match, Ortiz shaved his dreadlocks using a scissor and a razor. While speaking on The Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette criticized the match for not making sense. He then proceeded to blast AEW for their random booking ideas.

“What the f*ck? Why do that to somebody? Okay, I mean even if he wanted to shave his head, sit down and walk through this, okay, how can it make sense? How can we build to this? How can we have a main event on the TV show where a baby face doesn’t look stupid?

Nobody knows how this works. They [AEW] just come up with random ideas and nobody’s walking through it to tell them the problems. They’re gonna manifest themselves.”

The Jericho Appreciation Society will battle it out with Eddie Kingston’s group on June 29th at Blood & Guts. We’ll have to see which team will come out on top in the match.
