Over the past week or so, we have seen significant stars in AEW get sent to the injured list. From Bryan Danielson to even the AEW World champion, CM Punk. While this may be a cause for concern, AEW president Tony Khan is looking toward the future where hopefully, all of the fan’s favorite AEW talent is back on the roster. It’s another instance of Khan keeping in touch with what fans of the product are looking for and how much he loves the wrestling promotion that he’s created and wants to see it succeed.

Khan took to Twitter and thanked all the fans for helping AEW reached number one this week according to some demographics. He also stated that Rampage will return to its regular time slot after bouncing around for so many weeks.

Thank you to everyone, fans at home, KC fans, staff + wrestlers who made #AEWDynamite Wednesday’s #1 show on cable/satellite! I’m excited: *many* stars will return to AEW in the weeks ahead + glad to be back in our classic Friday Night #AEWRampage timeslot Tomorrow @ 10pm/9pm CT!

In recent weeks, Miro and Andrade have returned after long stretches away from the ring. Kenny Omega perhaps has been out the longest as there’s still no word on when fans will see him return. Luckily, AEW has a lot of talent to rely on and a dedicated president backing the promotion through and through.
