Impact Wrestling recently saw one of its top stars move on. W. Morrissey left the company after his final appearance aired during last night’s episode of Impact. Now, another big name is headed off to greener pastures.

Jay White is done with the promotion for now after helping to bring the Bullet Club to Impact. There does not appear to be any bad blood. It is just a matter of timing.

Mike Johnson of PW Insider reported the news this morning. It was noted that with Jay White’s busy schedule for New Japan Pro Wrestling, there is no way to keep him consistently involved in Impact. The promotion would be open to having him back when his schedule is a little more free.

“Due to White’s busy Japanese schedule, there’s just no current way to consistently use him on Impact programming currently, similar to the reasons Jonah has departed.  Obviously, Impact would love to have White back when they can, but while Bullet Club will continue to pop up, White doesn’t have anything currently scheduled with Impact and that’s not expected to change in the near future.”

Jay White has also made appearances for AEW recently. With the upcoming Forbidden Door pay-per-view, it is likely that he will be back there before the month is out. White has been one of NJPW’s top stars, and when he’s available in America, he’s always in demand.

Time will tell when Jay White will be back at Impact Wrestling. White gave the company some star power and helped establish Bullet Club in the promotion. For now, the two sides will be parting ways.
