Roderick Strong inked new deal with WWE just around the time when his Undisputed Era brothers departed. He is now alone on NXT 2.0, but he was placed with the Diamond Mine faction as a consolation. Now there is a lot of question about that.

It was previously reported that Strong’s match was cut from NXT 2.0 due to an ankle injury. In fact, that was a worked injury and Strong is fine.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Strong is not going away. The fact is that NXT 2.0 has plans for him to be involved in the Diamond Mine’s angle.

Roderick Strong was said on TV to have an ankle injury, which led to the Strong & Damon Kemp vs. Pretty Deadly match being off TV this week. I was just told Strong is okay and this will be added to the Diamond Mine storyline

We’ll have to see what WWE has planned for Roddy. He has a lot of fans behind him, if anything because they are still on his side as memories of the Undisputed Era are fond ones. Keep checking back with Ringside News as we hear more about this ongoing situation.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
