Becky Lynch’s hard work in WWE has paid off in many ways, as she is a multi-time women’s champion. The company clearly trusts her when it comes to decisions they make and they also depend on her. Becky Lynch proved her worth after suggesting Asuka beat her on Monday Night RAW.

As seen in the main event of this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Becky Lynch squared off against Asuka to determine the #1 contender for Bianca Belair’s RAW Women’s Championship. This cemented the Empress of Tomorrow in a title match at Hell in a Cell.

In the end, Asuka got the win after spraying green mist on Becky Lynch’s face. This was preceded by Sasha Banks and Naomi walking out on WWE as RAW went on air.

According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Becky Lynch suggested that Asuka beat her in the match after Banks and Naomi walked out of the show.

“A suggestion was made, reportedly by Lynch, to have Lynch vs. Asuka in a singles match for the title shot. Because they are trying to avoid a straight singles match with Belair and Lynch until a major PPV show, Lynch couldn’t win here, so Asuka pinned Lynch after blowing green mist in her eyes when Lynch at first tried to use Asuka’s umbrella as a foreign object.”

With WWE saving a Bianca Belair vs Becky Lynch match for later, Asuka winning was the right choice. We will have to wait and see what the company has planned for Becky Lynch. She will still be one of the highlights of Monday Night RAW no matter what.
