Impact Wrestling needs all the star power they can get and one former World Champion is set to make a return to the company. It seems that Sami Callihan should be expected back soon.

Once called the heart of Impact Wrestling, Sami Callihan has been out of action with an injury. According to Fightful he is set to make his return imminently.

Sami Callihan is set to return to action soon, as soon as this weekend’s set of Under Siege tapings. Callihan has been sidelined since last fall with an injury and was scheduled to be out until mid-2022. Those that we spoke to say he’s factored into IMPACT’s Slammiversary plans and is scheduled to face another former World Champion.

We’ll have to see when he returns. “Hit List” teasers during Rebellion could have been a big clue, after all, that code spelled out “Sami.” Keep checking back with Ringside News for more info.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
