Ricochet Would Love To Have Another Run In NXT

WWE and NXT have had several superstar crossovers recently. It all started when AJ Styles showed up to feud with Grayson Waller. Since then, Dolph Ziggler, Natalya, and the Viking Raiders have all appeared on the developmental brand. One current WWE champion would love to have his shot as well.

Ricochet started his WWE career in NXT. He helped bring recognition to the NXT North American title, and even held the tag championships with Aleister (Malakai) Black. Since moving to the main roster, he won the United States and Intercontinental Championships.

The reigning IC Champ recently talked to Cultaholic about various topics. Among them was the possibility of a run in NXT. Ricochet said he is all for it.

“AJ went back, Nattie is down there now. All these guys are going back down there and it seems like they are having a great time. If anyone down there… me and Carmelo had a thing going. If Carmelo wants the heat, he can have it. Whoever it is, I would love to go down there, that’s always been a home of mine. So anytime.”

Ricochet would love to revisit his early days in WWE. Of course, plenty has changed since his time in NXT. Gone is the black and yellow Triple H brand. It would be interesting to see how he fits in NXT 2.0.

Time will tell if WWE has any interest in sending Ricochet for a run in NXT. There would be plenty of fresh matchups and a built-in rivalry with Carmelo Hayes. Ricochet is ready to go if WWE decides he’s needed there.
