Alberto El Patron Reportedly Pulled From Planned AAA TripleMania XXX Match

Alberto El Patron is no longer coming to AAA. He was set to be Laredo Kid’s partner in a three-way tag match against Johhny Superstar (John Morrison) & Taurus and Dragon Lee & Dralistico at Triplemania: Monterrey. He will be replaced by a wrestler from the American Independent scene.

According to Emily Pratt at Fanbyte, the former WWE star has been pulled from his match at this weekend’s Triplemania event which was scheduled at Monterrey this Saturday. The same source reported earlier this month that El Patron will be making a surprise appearance at the TripleMania event.

However, El Patron was not chosen initially as Laredo Kid’s partner. Another wrestler was chosen for the role, but due to visa issues, a change had to be made.

It would have been the first match of El Patron in a major pro wrestling promotion since he was accused of aggravated kidnapping and four sexual assaults in 2020. However, the case was dismissed in December 2021, after witness did not appear in court. Stay tuned to Ringside for more!
