Cody Rhodes left AEW back in February and after a lot of anticipation, he made his return to WWE. He squared off against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 38 and ended up winning his return match. Rhodes’ theme song also reached a new milestone by the looks of it.
He had an extravagant entrance prior to his match against Seth Rollins, that certainly suited his character. It had all the bells and whistles, complete with his now-iconic entrance theme, ‘Kingdom’ by Downstait.
Downstait took to Twitter and revealed that the theme song has now officially surpassed 1 million streams on Spotify.
“Kingdom” just passed 1 million streams on Spotify for 2022!! Thank you guys so much!!
Cody Rhodes is set to engage in a longstanding feud with Seth Rollins for the time being. It remains to be seen how WWE will be booking their feud in the coming weeks.
