Tonight’s SmackDown is set to feature the annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal featuring wrestlers from both Raw and SmackDown. Also scheduled for tonight is a triple threat Intercontinental Championship match between Champion Ricochet and challengers Angel and Humberto.

It should be interesting to see how things play out on tonight’s show.

Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

SmackDown kicks off with the annual battle royal match. The match begins in typical battle royal chaotic fashion. Akira Tozawa is first eliminated with Reggie soon following. R-Truth turns his back and is eliminated by Damian Priest. The Viking Raiders team up to eliminate Jinder Mahal. Shelton Benjamin hits a running knee to eliminate T-Bar. Madcap Moss hits a lariat to eliminate Drew Gulak. Happy Corbin walks out to the ring and saves Moss from elimination from Tommaso Ciampa. Commander Azeez eliminates Shelton Benjamin and Ciampa eliminates Mansoor. Commander Azeez eliminates both Viking Raiders. Azeez and Shanky fight against the ropes and every other wrestler in the ring team up to eliminate both Azeez and Shanky. Balor eliminates Priest and Dolph Ziggler eliminates Ciampa with a super kick. Ziggler and Roode try to eliminate Balor but Madcap Moss runs in to eliminate both Ziggler and Roode. Balor initially survives elimination but Moss is able to throw Balor out and win the match.

Winner: Madcap Moss

Intercontinental Championship

Ricochet vs Humberto vs Angel

Our triple threat championship match begins with Humberto and Angel teaming up against Ricochet. Angel hits a running knee with Humberto hitting a kick to Ricochet’s back. Ricochet takes out both Humberto and Angel with a double huricanrana. Angel catches Ricochet on the top rope and Humberto hits a top rope arm drag to Ricochet.

Back live with Humberto and Angel working over Ricochet in the corner. Ricochet fights out of the corner but Angel hits a running splash in the corner to stop Ricochet’s momentum. Ricochet hits an enziguri and goes for the cover for two. Angel goes for a cover and Humberto break it up as the team begins to fight with each other. Humberto goes for a quick roll up on Angel. Angel kicks out and Los Lotharios scream at each other but Ricochet hits a flying cross body to take both of them out. Ricochet hits an enziguri to Angel. Ricochet goes up top but Humberto prevents the dive on to Angel. Humberto goes up top for a superplex but Ricochet fights free and throws Humberto to the mat. Ricochet hits the 630 and covers Humberto for three.

Winner: Ricochet

Sasha Banks & Naomi vs Queen Zelina & Carmella

The match begins with Carmella and Banks in the ring. Carmella and Zelina begin to work over Banks in the corner and making frequent tags. Zelina goes for a cover for a two count. Banks makes the tag to Naomi who hits a double drop kick to take out Zelina and Carmella. Naomi hits the moonsault and covers Zelina for the three count.

Winners: Sasha Banks & Naomi

SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair makes her out. Charlotte says that no matter what threat Rousey makes, at WrestleMania, she will destroy Rousey. Charlotte runs down her accolades in WWE and vows to take Rousey to school at WrestleMania. Charlotte laughs as she holds the title belt up high.

Jimmy Uso vs Rick Boogs

The match begins with Boogs slamming Jimmy into the corner. Jimmy shoves Boogs shoulder-first to the ring post. Jimmy begins to taunt allowing Boogs to catch him and hit a fall away slam. Austin Theory runs out to antagonize pat McAfee and Finn Balor runs out, throws Theory into the ring and begins fighting Theory in the ring, and the ref calls for the bell for an apparent DQ.

Back live where it’s now a six man tag team match with Nakamura, Boogs and Balor against The Usos and Theory. Nakamura hits a running knee to Jey Uso and Nakamura goes for a cover for two. Theory tags in and hits a snap suplex and covers for two. Balor tags in and hits multiple chops to Theory. Jimmy Uso takes a cheap shot at Balor while the ref is distracted. Jimmy is tagged in and he bounces Balor’s head of the announce table.

*Commercial break*

The match continues live with Jimmy going for a cover on Balor for a two count. Jimmy goes for a corner splash but Balor moves out of the way causing Jimmy to crash into the corner. Nakamura and Theory are both tagged in and Nakamura takes Theory down with a kick. Nakamura goes for a cover but The Usos break it up with a double super kick. Balor is tagged in and Balor hits a dive over the top rope. Balor throws Theory back in the ring and goes to the top rope. The Usos cause a distraction allowing Theory to hit the Ataxia and cover for three.

Winners: The Usos & Austin Theory

Back live with Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss in the ring for Happy Talk. Moss begins to celebrate his big win but Corbin cuts him off and talks about when he won the battle royal at WrestleMania 32. Corbin holds up the sword he stole from McIntyre on Raw this week as a video plays recapping the Raw moment. Corbin alludes to the sword being named after McIntyre’s late mother and makes a joke about how McIntyre has lost both the sword and his mother. McIntyre furiously walks to the ring, destroys moss with a single punch and enters the ring with a chair. McIntyre breaks the chair over Corbin’s head and takes back his sword and swings it at Corbin who is barely able to dodge and escape the ring.

SmackDown finishes with a list of all the upcoming WrestleMania matches as SmackDown goes off the air one more time before WrestleMania.
