Kairi Sane Ruptured Her Eardrum During Return Match At STARDOM

Kairi Sane was one of the most talented female competitors in all of WWE. She found great success in NXT, even becoming the NXT Women’s Champion. Unfortunately, Kairi Sane suffered an injury recently.

During this weekend’s STARDOM World Climax event, Kairi Sane, who is known as Kairi Hojo now, partnered up with Mayu Iwatani and faced off against Tam Nakano and Unagi Sayaka.

Hojo’s team won the match and fans were happy to see her back in action after almost two years. During today’s show, Hojo squared off against Starlight Kid in her first singles match since July 2020.

While Kairi won the match, she did not leave unscathed by the looks of it. While speaking during a press conference after the match, Kairi Hojo revealed that she ruptured her eardrum during the match.

My eardrum [is] ruptured right now, so I can’t hear…. Each move had weight, and I was on fire during the fight. She was a different person from the previous [Starlight] Kid. My eardrum was torn, but I was happy, or rather, the pain made me happy.

It is unfortunate that Kairi Hojo had suffered an injury during her return match. We certainly hope she makes a speedy recovery.
