Thunder Rosa is considered one of the best in-ring female pro wrestlers in the pro wrestling business and for good reason. Rosa honed her craft and took it to the next level in AEW. She was also upset over a Brock Lesnar segment in the past.

Back in 2004, Brock Lesnar was the WWE Champion and engaged in a feud with Eddie Guerrero. In the buildup for the feud, Brock Lesnar wore a Sombrero hat and ordered a Mariachi band to play Mexican music. He was also dancing and mocking Eddie Guerrero during the segment.

While speaking on NBC Sports Boston’s Ten Count, Thunder Rosa talked about having a women’s Mariachi band playing her to the ring before her AEW Women’s Championship match against Britt Baker. Rosa revealed that she was upset over Brock Lesnar’s segment with Eddie Guerrero, as she felt it insulted her Mexican culture.

“I can tell you, I read about me bringing the Mariachi and I remember Brock Lesnar making fun of Eddie Guerrero with that. And that hurts because they were making fun of my culture before. And on Wednesday, I represented our culture properly; with honor and with respect. Because people were, ‘oh, Mariachi, fun. Like, let’s make fun of Mexicans.”

We will have to wait and see how Thunder Rosa will be booked as the AEW Women’s World Champion. Fans are certainly excited to see the numerous matches Rosa can have now on AEW television.
