Deonna Purrazzo used to compete in WWE NXT and fans had high hopes for her. She was fired from WWE back on April 15th, 2020, but she also wanted out. She wasted no time in finding a home as she appeared on Impact Wrestling as soon as her 30-day non-compete clause expired, and eventually in ROH as well. Tony Khan’s purchase of Ring Of Honor changes a lot of things.

Purrazzo won the Impact Knockouts Title and has been force to be reckoned with. Purrazzo would eventually lose the title to Mickie James as well. She then became the ROH Women’s Champion, adding another feather to her cap.

AEW President Tony Khan shocked the world as he announced that he has purchased the entirety of Ring Of Honor on previous episode of AEW Dynamite. It was said he paid a pretty penny for ROH as well.

While speaking to Muscle Man Malcolm, Deonna Purrazzo talked about Tony Khan purchasing Ring Of Honor. Purrazzo stated that everything is up in the air after Khan’s purchase.

“Oh, I’d love to defend it against Britt Baker. But there’s also a lot of other women in AEW that you know, and obviously, I don’t know what’s to come of my relationship with Ring of Honor and Tony buying Ring of Honor and I just don’t know, there’s a lot of unanswered questions for everyone right now, and everything’s just a little bit up in the air.

But I would love to be at Supercard of Honor, if I’m asked to be I will be there 100% defending my Ring of Honor Women’s World Championship. But yeah, it’s Britt. We’ve talked about that for years. It feels like now but there’s such a plethora of women’s talent there that I think really could be showcased better and more. I’d love to wrestle Kris Statlander. I’d love to wrestle Leyla Hirsch. I’d love to wrestle Red Velvet. There are so many women there that would be first-time matchups for me and potential dream matches.”

Tony Khan will also personally book the ROH Supercard of Honor event next month. CM Punk is also thankful Tony Khan purchased Ring Of Honor and not Vince McMahon. We’ll have to see if ROH will thrive under Tony Khan’s leadership or not.
