AEW Revolution was one of the biggest events in the company’s history. While fans witnessed multiple breathtaking events on the show, such as CM Punk using his ROH entrance theme and William Regal’s debut, there was quite a lot of hasty planning involved in the event as well.

The fans at the event witnessed an incredible match between Dr. Britt Baker DMD and Thunder Rosa for the AEW Women’s Championship. While the match was received positively by the fans, AEW changed its ending multiple times before the big event.

Fightful reports that the ending of the match underwent changes in the few weeks leading up to the event. While there isn’t proper rationale available as to why this happened, Thunder Rosa is speculated to fight Britt Baker once again in her hometown for the St. Patrick’s Day Slam show.

The AEW Women’s Championship match between Dr. Britt Baker DMD and Thunder Rosa had the finish changed multiple times in the weeks that preceded AEW Revolution. We weren’t given a reason as to why, but the company is clearly setting up a rematch for the St. Patrick’s Day Slam show in Thunder Rosa’s hometown in a couple of weeks.

The match was interrupted by Rebel and Jamie Hayter, which allowed from Baker to hit her signature Stomp and still retain her Women’s Championship. With Rosa facing off against Leyla Hirsch for a title shot once again, Baker and Rosa might go toe-to-toe again on St. Patrick’s Day Slam edition of AEW Dynamite.
