Kevin Owens is certainly one of the top Superstars in WWE and has worked hard to get to where he is right now. He honed his craft in the independent circuit before making his way to WWE in 2014. It seems he only had two days’ notice before a huge match with Edge.

The Prizefighter squared off against Edge in a steel cage match during the traditional post-Christmas Madison Square Garden Live Event on December 26. It was a great match that fans certainly enjoyed.

While speaking with Ryan Satin on Out Of Character, Kevin Owens talked about his match against Edge. Owens revealed that he only had two days’ notice prior to the steel cage match.

“Man, that was awesome. We had two days’ notice. I found out on Christmas Eve, that that’s what was gonna happen. That was a real thrill. We’ve been talking about wrestling each other for so long since he came back. Who knows if we’ll get to do it again. I certainly hope we will get to do it again. But even if we don’t, main event of MSG in a cage and we rocked it, it was a lot of fun. Great times. [It’s] something I [would] look back on very fondly for a very long time for sure.”
