Chris Jericho has been touted as one of the greatest pro wrestlers to have worked in the pro wrestling business. His remarkable ability to stay relevant through reinventions continues to astound fans. It seems he won’t make a big deal of his retirement either.

Chris Jericho is 51-years-old right now and his body has taken a lot of abuse over the years and he might not be able to wrestle for a very long time anymore.

While speaking with Fite in Focus, Chris Jericho talked about hanging up his pro wrestling boots for good one day. Jericho stated that he doesn’t plan to have pomp and circumstance when he retires.

“When I’m done, there’s not going to be a retirement tour, there’s not going to be big pomp and circumstance. I’ll be done. I’ll go somewhere else and do what I want to do.

Right now, I’m in the best shape of my life, we have a really good story going on with Eddie Kingston that has a lot of layers to come. To me, that’s enough to sit back and enjoy myself. When I’m enjoying myself, there’s no reason to change anything.”

Chris Jericho is set to square off against Eddie Kingston at AEW Revolution on March 6th. We will have to wait and see who will come out on top in the match, as fans really want to see Kingston win.
