Cody Rhodes Was Not In Orlando On WWE Business

Cody Rhodes was spotted in Orlando and that got the rumor mill going. Cody was subject to speculation that he could be there to film promos for his return to WWE. That doesn’t seem to be the case.

Fightful has provided an update on why Cody was in Orlando. The outlet reports that he visited friends for a birthday dinner there and not a trip to the WWE Performance Center.

When Rhodes was contacted for comments on the reports, he simply said he’s a “stay-at-home dad now.”

Whereas, there is nothing from Cody or WWE on his return as of last week. But it was reported that there is still lingering feeling within the company that Cody is coming back.

Not to mention we also saw Edge reference undeniable, smoke/mirrors in his promo on WWE Raw. A match with the R-rated Superstar might be an excellent way to introduce Cody Rhodes.
