Carmella is one of the mainstays of the women’s division in WWE and that is especially true for her current run on the main roster. It seems she opened up about her frustrations as well.
The Princess of Staten Island is also never afraid to speak up her mind and fire back at her haters. Carmella cashed in her Money in the Bank contract on Charlotte Flair during the post-WrestleMania 34 episode of Friday Night Smackdown.
After that, the only notable thing Carmella did was when she won a Battle Royal on the WrestleMania 35 kickoff show. While speaking on his After The Bell podcast, Carmella talked about her frustrations with how some fans think of her career. Carmella made it clear she wants to be known for more than just Money in the Bank cash in.
“Why do I only have to be known for winning Money in the Bank and cashing in on Charlotte Flair? I’m so much more than that and I want so much more than that, and I think that that’s okay to want more than that. That’s my goal [a WrestleMania moment], and if I don’t get that I don’t know what I’m gonna do.”
Carmella is currently one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. We will have to wait and see whether Carmella will end up doing anything that fans will remember again.
