AEW officially put the first foot forward in releasing the first ever Owen Hart T-shirt. The newly released merchandise is available for purchase at ShopAEW. The announcement for the shirt was made previously on Friday.

Owen Hart used the nickname “The King of Harts” after his iconic victory over Doink the Clown, Tatanka, the 1-2-3 Kid (Sean Waltman) and Razor Ramon at the WWF’s 1994 King of the Ring tournament. While he won the tournament, he never really abandoned the nickname throughout the rest of his career.

The ShopAEW Twitter account posted the announcement on the platform, and showed off the newly-released design of the T-shirt. The announcement tweet revealed to the fans:

Just in! Head to ShopAEW.com to check out the King of Harts shirt.

AEW is only two months away from The Owen Hart Cup, so the release of the T-shirt could not have been at a better time. The event will be kicked off on the May 11 episode of AEW Dynamite in Long Island, New York.

The event will follow both male and female AEW stars competing, with the finals scheduled at the AEW Double or Nothing event on May 29. The show will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
