Welcome to Ringside News’ live results, highlights, winners and reactions for the February 21st, 2022 episode of WWE RAW.

Start time for tonight’s show is 8:00 PM EST. Match-by-match highlights and results from the show will take place on this very page, so you should update frequently to get the latest happenings. Feel free to leave any reactions in the comment section below.

Brock Lesnar won the Elimination Chamber match in Saudi Arabia to be crowned the new Champion – with Bobby Lashley being removed from the match before ever getting out of his pod. Lesnar now heads into WrestleMania for a winner-takes-all match against the WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns! Lesnar should be on tonight’s RAW but he’ll be sliding over to SmackDown for the majority of ‘Mania season and RAW is in desperate need of a new star or headline act.

In something of an uninspired, predictable move, Bianca Belair won the women’s Chamber match to become number one contender to Becky Lynch. A Rhea Ripley Vs. Becky Lynch showdown may have been more exciting and fresh, but maybe we’ll get a triple threat. Beyond the title pitcures, we know nothing about tonight’s show. No segments or matches have been announced, although there is the rumours of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Cody Rhodes, and Logan Paul making appearances at WrestleMania, so do with that what you will.

RAW

This week’s RAW opens with a look back at Saturday’s Elimination Chamber premium event from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. We go live to the arena in South Carolina and out comes the new WWE Champion in a damn fine sweater.

Brock says it’s getting hot so he takes off the sweater and gets the fans chanting “suplex city”. Brock thanks the fans for the reception and then he’s interrupted by his former advocate, Paul Heyman. Lesnar interrupts Heyman and tells him not to take another step towards the ring. Heyman obliges and the fans tell him he sucks. Heyman says he is the special council for the only real Champion in WWE, Roman Reigns.

Heyman says he is out here not out of disrespect, but out of love for their 20 years together. He knows Brock is laser-focused on WrestleMania and the winner-take-all match, but there’s a roadblock in his way. See for 20 years Heyman took care of all the little details for Brock. Such as him defending the WWE Championship on March 5th in Madison Square Garden. So Brock won’t be making to WrestleMania as WWE Champion.

Lesnar says he still appreciates Heyman, even though he’s “such a dick”. Lesnar says he doesn’t need Heyman to tell him all the little details, like where to be on what day. Heyman challenges that and says Brock doesn’t know a lot of things. And if Lashley can’t make it to MSG he’ll make sure someone does. Lesnar says he is doing just fine without him and he knows little things, like on Friday night Heyman will be in a ring in Pennsylvania with Roman Reigns. And guess where Brock will be? In the same ring to introduce them to the new WWE Champion.

Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins are backstage talking when Kevin Patrick appears for an interview. Patrick says neither of them have clear paths to WrestleMania. Rollins laughs and KO says they do have one: they’re the best tag team on RAW. They beat RK-Bro two weeks ago. Which is why they asked management to give them an opportunity tonight. So if they win tonight they get a title shot, and maybe then they’ll challenge The Uso’s at WrestleMania to title Vs. title. And maybe that will make it bearable to be in the Hellhole known as Dallas, Texas.

Montez jumps over the ropes at Gable but gets caught with a northern lights suplex for a two-count. Ford leaps over Gable to tag Dawkins, who comes in hot and knocks Otis off the apron. Dawkins hits a spinning neckbreaker, then a splash in the corner.

Dawkins tags Ford for a massive double-team blockbuster. Otis breaks the pin attempt and throws Dawkins out of the ring. The two brawl on the floor and Otis drops Dawkins, meanwhile Gable and Ford trade back-and-forth in the ring. Otis blind-tags in as Ford tosses Gable out of the ring. Ford tries to body slam Otis over the ropes but the weight is too much and Otis lands on him. Gable holds the feet so Otis scores the pinfall.

Winners: Alpha Academy

Kevin Patrick interviews former NXT Champion, Tommaso Ciampa backstage. He asks if Ciampa feels pressure competing on RAW tonight. Ciampa says this all started because Dolph Ziggler came to his home and tried to start a fight. He’ll fight Ziggler anywhere, even on Monday’s. And he knew the guy to call to be his partner… a wild Finn Balor appears! Balor says Monday Night RAW may be his home now, but he’ll never forget where he came from. So let’s start the road to WrestleMaia, shoulder-to-shoudler.

Ciampa fights up and connects with a clothesline. Balor and Roode tag in and Finn lands some flying forearms, a double stomp, and chops in the corner. Balor hits an elbow slam and Dolph breaks the pin attempt.

Ziggler and Ciampa are knocked from the ring and Roode catches Balor with a spinebuster. Balor counters a suplex and hits a slingblade, then tags Ciampa, who catches Roode with a flying knee in mid-air. Ciampa wants the Fairytale Ending but Roode flips him over. Tommaso rolls-up Bobby and scores his second-ever win on Monday Night Raw.

Winners: Tommaso Ciampa & Finn Balor

The announcers run down the entire card for WrestleMania in Dallas, Texas, which takes place on Saturday the 2nd and Sunday the 3rd of April.

*Commercial Break*

The Miz comes to the ring for a new episode of Miz TV. He says he had a realization at Elimination Chamber; the average Joe wants his life but it’s unobtainable. So Joe looks to Rey Mysterio as a more realistic role model. The fans need Rey to succeed, which is why they cheer when Rey cheats. So he’s found himself a partner for WrestleMania, a man who comes from a fighting family, an entrepreneur and someone who shares the same beliefs as himself.

Before Miz can introduce his partner, Rey and Dominik Mysterio come out. Rey says he’s curious who this partner is because he knows everyone in the back hates Miz. And whoever this outsider is, they should walk away and allow someone who deserves the spot to be at WrestleMania. Miz says that’s rich, did Dominik earn a contract or was he handed one because of who his father is? Dominik says he’s been in the front row since he was a toddler.

He’s been in the locker room and this is his life, his blood, everything he knows. So yeah, Rey brought him to the game but he’ll do anything to stay there. And if Miz says anything further about Rey… Miz interrupts and says what, are they going to put him in a handicap match again? No, never again. Because he has a partner now and he’s challenging them to a match at WrestleMania. Before they can answer, Miz reveals his partner is none other than Logan Paul!

Paul comes to the ring and gets booed by the fans. Paul says Rey is a WWE legend but he has pool toys bigger than him. Dominik says if this jackass is Miz’s partner for WrestleMania, then they accept! Miz attacks Dominik and Logan does the same to Rey. They beat the Mysterio’s down, then work together to throw Rey and Dominik into the ring posts. Miz hits Skull Crushing Finale on Rey, then Logan hits an awkward version of his own on Dominik.

Alpha Academy are backstage and Gable reminds Kevin Patrick how educated he is. Gable says it’s disgusting that Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins were able to get a title shot by just complaining. And now their chances of retaining the Championships have fallen to 33%. But it doesn’t matter because Otis loves to win as much as he hates math and taht’s what they’re going to do.

*Commercial Break*

Rhea Ripley Vs. Nikki A.S.H

Nikki slaps Ripley across the face at the start, which gets her run backwards and tackled in the corner. Rhea lands some shoulders before throwing Nikki across the ring. Ripley hits a stalling vertical suplex, causing Nikki to roll outside and berate the announcers. Ripley goes out and slams her head into the announce desk before rolling her back in. Damian Priest Vs. Shelton Benjamin W/Cedric Alexander

The match begins and Priest takes the fight to Benjamin but gets quickly sent out of the ring. Benjamin distracts the referee, allowing Alexander to connect with a running kick on the floor. Back inside and Benjamin grabs a sleeper hold on Priest. Damian fights up and lands a spinning back elbow, then a flurry of kicks to Shelton. Priest decks Shelton with a right hand, then a clothesline.

Cedric gets on the apron and Priest knocks him right back off, but Shelton then sends Priest into the corner and hits a running switch knee, followed by a T-bone suplex for a two-count. Shelton waits for Priest to get up and runs at him but gets caught with a kick. Priest lands a chokeslam, then hits The Reckoning for the pinfall.

Winner: Damian Priest

After the match Priest gets on the microphone and says kudos to Shelton, he’s a former Champion. But he’s got a long list of former Champion’s that he’s beaten. Well this is WrestleMania season, so next week he’s going to host an open challenge for the United States Championship and he wants a world class opoonent. He asks whose going to step up and try to take it from him.

Finn Balor walks out and questions Damian Priest, “you want to face a serious athlete? You want a credibly fighter? You want a World Champion level opponent?” Balor says that sounds a lot like him. Be careful what you wish for, because Balor accepts.

*Commercial Break*

The WWE 24/7 Champion, Reggie, comes to the ring and he says he has something he wants to say and he promises there will be no shenanigans. Reggie requests Dana Brooke come to the ring and she makes her way out. Reggie says he was supportive of Brooke from day one but last week he saw an opportunity and he took it. Which has left him with a horrible feeling since last week, so he wants to apologise. But more than that, he requests a refere come down to the ring.

A referee comes down and Reggie lays down in the middle of the ring. Dana covers him but Reggie kicks out at two. He laughs and apologises to Dana, saying it was a reflex. She covers him again but he kicks out again. Reggie lays back down and Dana covers him but this time she kisses him and he stays pinned to the mat. Dana Brooke is the new WWE 24/7 Champion. We see more highlights from the Elimination Chamber PPV, focusing on the women’s match, which came down to Bianca Belair and Alexa Bliss. The winner and new number one contender, Belair, comes to the ring.

*Commercial Break*

The Est. of WWE is in the ring and the fans are chanting for her. She says last year she walked out of WrestleMania as the SmackDown Women’s Champion, and this year she’s ready to run it back for RAW. Bianca gives it up for her opponents inside Elimination Chamber, they were all tough ladies, but there can only be one toughEST. She is the hardest working woman in WWE, working non-stop for this moment. In just six weeks she’s going to show Becky Lynch why you can’t spell WrestleMania without Est.

Becky Lynch makes her way out with some serious swagger. She congratulates Bianca and says she’s made it back to the big time. And it gets no bigger than the only two women to have ever won the main event of WrestleMania. However, Bianca better not forget she only main evented WrestleMania because she did it first and she wasn’t there last year. Belair says Becky did it first but she did it better. Becky reminds Belair that she won two belts that night, beating Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey.

Since then she’s never lost the RAW Women’s Championship, and the other title she beat Belair for in 26 seconds. Belair says she didn’t forget that. She did what Becky said, she went to the back of the line. She was the sole survivor at Survivor Series. She won Elimination Chamber. She’s earned her spot back at the main event, she’s no victim. Lynch says she’s right, because she’s the victim.

She came back as The Man and got a rightful hero’s welcome. But because she beat Belair, they booed her. Belair made them hate her, which in turn makes her hate Belair. Lynch says we see what she did to Lita, someone she loves, so imagine what she’ll do to someone she hates at WrestleMania. This is her redemption story. Belair says if Becky wants to be the victim she can make her one. Before she can attack, Belair’s opponent for the night, Doudrop, makes her way to the ring.

Beliar drags her back to the middle of the ring for a near-fall. Bianca kicks Doudrop and picks her up but Doudrop hits a quick Michonoku Driver for a near-fall. Doudrop puts Belair in the corner but Bianca grabs her and hits a running powerbomb. Belair immediately gets Doudrop up and backs her into the corner where she gets her up for the Kiss of Death and the pinfall!

Winner: Bianca Belair

WWE Hall of Famer, Edge, makes his way to the ring and takes a seat. Edge says you can smell WrestleMania in the air. He walks us back to WrestleMania III where he was sat by his uncle’s radio listening for the results to come through. He can never forget hearing Hulk Hogan body slammed and then beat Andre The Giant. And taht’s why his heart rate picks up when it’s WrestleMania season. And the first WrestleMania he attended as a performer was 14, that’s how old he is.

It took him a further two years to get on a WrestleMania, and he knew he had to throw caution to the wind and put in a performance that would ensure he had a career. And they did it. But that set the bar and they knew they had to constantly out-do themselves, which they did on the biggest stage ever at WrestleMania 17 with Tables, ladders & Chairs. Then came WrestleMania 22 where he speared Mick Foley through a flaming table and stole the show. Then WrestleMania 24 against The Undertaker and he came this close to ending the streak. Congrats to the Deadman by the way.

At WrestleMania 27 he wrestled what he thought was his last match and retired as the World Heavyweight Champion. Most would say that was enough, but not for him. He busted his ass for ten years and last year he main evented WrestleMania again. WrestleMania has been the stuff of dreams for 38 years and each year he still dreams of it. He works all year to get in that ring and soak in the energy so he can be phenomenal. He needs WrestleMania. And they’re calling this one stupdenous, but it can’t be without him. So he’s laying down the gauntlet. He needs someone to step up and prove themself to him. He’s waiting.

Riddle falls into the tree of woe and Rollins capitalises with a double stomp for a near-fall. Owens tags in and hits Ushigoroshi for a near-fall. Owens slams Riddle and hits a swanton bomb, followed by a frog splash from Riddle but again the bro kicks out.
