WWE’s 4 Horsewomen consists of Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Bayley, and Sasha Banks. As the years went by those 4 have been a part of many different angles, but a big match on the grandest stage of them all is not happening this year.

A report came out saying that WWE was “seriously considering” a Four Horsewomen fatal four-way match for the main event of night 1 of WrestleMania 38. We can confirm that this is not true and was never a possibility at all.

Ringside News was told by a tenured member of the creative team that, “this was never discussed, never pitched, never considered, complete fake news.” Therefore, don’t get your hopes up about this match happening.

We exclusively reported that WWE is hearing any and all pitches for WrestleMania. Just because something is pitched, or even discussed, doesn’t mean it is going to make it on the card. The fact that this 4 Horsewomen match was ever even pitched should tell you something.

WWE wants to make WrestleMania 38 the best event they possibly can. A 4 Horsewomen fatal four-way match might be a nice addition to the show of shows, but it was never a consideration. After all, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch were both already locked into big singles matches that are set to be marquee contests for this year’s two-night event.
