Paul Heyman Believes The Best Is Yet To Come For Roman Reigns & Brock Lesnar

Roman Reigns was on a roll since his return to the company back at WWE SummerSlam in 2020. He returned as the Tribal Chief and truly reinvented himself. The change was several years in the making as fans clamored for it for so long. 

The Head of the Table has certainly been very dominant as the WWE Universal Champion as he has remained the champion for well over a year now. It is unlikely he will be losing the title anytime soon from the looks of it. He has competed against several top WWE Superstars throughout that time.

Paul Heyman betrayed Brock Lesnar at the WWE Royal Rumble event, costing him the WWE Championship against Bobby Lashley as he aligned himself to Roman Reigns again.

While speaking on After the Bell, Paul Heyman talked about the growth of both Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar over the years. Heyman stated that he believes the best is yet to come for both of them as they will continue to grow.

“First of all, I’ll say this selfishly, you haven’t seen the best of Roman Reigns yet. Roman Reigns a year from now will be far greater than Roman Reigns today, Roman Reigns this Friday will be better than Roman Reigns last Friday and Roman Reigns next Friday will be able to look back at this Friday’s appearance and say ‘Ah, I can do that so much better.’

I think you look at Brock Lesnar evolving as a persona on television and here he comes down now ‘Captain Caveman’ fresh off a farm in Saskatchewan where he’s a pure killer and butcher. Can you compare this Brock Lesnar you’ve seen in the last 20 years? He’s evolving, he’s only going to be better.”

Brock Lesnar is set to challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 38. It remains to be seen whether The Beast will be able to topple The Tribal Chief at the Grandest Stage Of Them All or not.
