Some things in life are undeniable and Tony Khan hyping AEW is among them. The AEW head honcho is continuing to captivate the interest of fans with excitement-filled tweets.
Khan took to Twitter Friday to announce that tonight’s episode of AEW Rampage will get some newsworthy info, courtesy of the AEW head honcho himself. He also thanked fans for continuing to support the product.
“In addition to a guarantee that we have some great wrestling tonight @ 10pm ET/9pm CT on @TNTdrama, I’m planning to drop some newsworthy info on tonight’s #AEWRampage! Thank you to everyone who supports Dynamite + Rampage! Come tonight for the great wrestling, stay for the scoops”
The 39-year-old executive earlier talked about his plans to bring in more talent to an already-stacked AEW roster, as well as potentially holding cross-overs with other wrestling promotions.
“Just in the last several weeks, we’ve made some big ones and I plan to make some more big signings. Not in the long-term future, I mean in the short-term future,” he said during a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio.
“I’ll still be active in the free agent market and the forbidden door shall be opening again very soon. I guarantee you we’ll be making news out of tonight’s show and then we’ll have some big news next week too.”
Tonight’s Rampage is set to feature two championship matches as FTW Champion Ricky Starks and TNT Champion Sammy Guevara defend their titles against Jay Lethal and Isiah Kassidy, respectively. Plus, we’ve got Mercedes Martinez vs. Thunder Rosa and Adam Cole vs. Evil Uno.
