Mandy Rose completely changed her look on in NXT 2.0, showing off a much darker side of her character as a result. She also aligned herself with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. It seems Liv Morgan is a huge fan of her work as well.
Fans were used to seeing Mandy Rose as a blonde bombshell. Many fans simply didn’t think she had any wrestling skills or character work either. Rose would eventually prove all of her haters wrong after winning the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Halloween Havoc.
While speaking on My Mom’s Basement With Robbie Fox, Liv Morgan talked about Mand Rose’s current run as the NXT Women’s Champion. Morgan gave huge props to Rose for her performance so far as the champion.
“I love, I absolutely love Mandy Rose as NXT Women’s Champion, I think she’s doing so phenomenal. I think she has grown so much too, just in the last couple of months,” Morgan claimed. “Being put in this position of, you know, you’re like the ‘top b-tch’ you’re the ‘head b-tch in charge’. You know this is your division. And so, I think that this is cool, I enjoy watching it and it feels refreshing.”
Mandy Rose successfully defended her NXT Women’s Championship against Cora Jade and Raquel Gonzalez at NXT New Year’s Evil. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Rose as her stock continues to rise.
