Zayn has established himself as one of the mainstays of Friday Night Smackdown after changing his gimmick to a conspiracy theorist. Zayn continues to get props for his terrific in-ring skills and work rate. It seems a former WWE manager doesn’t think he should go to AEW.

Sami Zayn’s contact status in WWE was under question after Kevin Owens’ teased on numerous occasions that he would reunite with The Young Bucks in AEW. However, Owens decided to stay with WWE as he signed multi-year deal with the company.

While speaking on the Keepin It 100′ podcast, Disco Inferno was asked about Sami Zayn possibly making his way to AEW. Inferno made it clear that he doesn’t want Zayn to go to AEW and wrestle on YouTube.

“If I’m Sami Zayn, I am quite happy about the way WWE has been using me. I am someone who has a lot of free reign on the mic it seems like. Which I do not believe he would get a lot of time on the microphone in AEW. Why would he leave now? He wants to go back to his friends from 15 years ago? I think it’s all about the money with this guy. I would rather rather work on a show that is on Fox and I am getting mainstream publicity, as opposed to wrestling on YouTube. Which is all these guys end up doing, wrestling on YouTube. On Elevation and Dark and stuff. Why?

Sami Zayn might have already signed another contract with WWE following Kevin Owens’ re-signing as well. Regardless, it is likely Sami Zayn will stay in WWE for a long time.
