Canadian professional wrestler Kimberly Ford reached out to All Elite Wrestling for some good vibes for her friend Jessi. Jessi, Ford said, recently lost eight feet of her bowels and is fighting for her life. An outpouring of encouragement came from several AEW stars.

Ford posted a hospital bed selfie of her friend, along with a request for well-wishes. She just wanted to make her friend smile. It didn’t take long before they started pouring in.

“To anyone in @AEW that may see this: My friend @jessithebuckeye is in hospital, lost 8ft of her [bowels] & is battling for her life. If anyone in AEW could send her well wishes. She loves AEW & I know it would make her smile.”

Alex Abrahantes left Jessi a message from Penta encouraging her to stay strong. Matt Hardy says she’s one of the best people he’s met on Twitter and that she’s got his support. They were joined by hundreds of fans who liked and retweeted while sending along their best wishes.

Lance Archer, Evil Uno, and even AEW music man Mikey Rukus encouraged Jessi to keep up the fight. In addition to the AEW contingent, several independent wrestlers joined in. It was a who’s who of wrestling.

In a follow up tweet, Kimberly Ford thanked everybody for their love and support. She also encouraged any wrestlers who might see the message to send a shout out to her friend. Get well soon, Jessi!
