Chelsea Green arrived in ROH and Impact Wrestling after her WWE release, but she hasn’t appeared for AEW as many thought she might. She has wrestled for a lot of places, and now Green is considering Tony Khan’s company as an option.

The former Hot Mess accomplished lot since her WWE release. She started a podcast and landed a gig with Playboy. AEW still hasn’t happened for her yet, but she might be willing to change that.

While speaking to Wrestling News, Green opened up a little bit about AEW. She said that she’s done “everything else,” and now it might be time to explore AEW somewhere she can apply her trade next.

“I guess the one promotion that I haven’t gone to is AEW. It’s not like crazy to say. I’ve done. I’ve done everything else. But I have yet to step in the official AEW ring. I was at All In, the only females match on the card. But I think it’s time to explore that option, something I haven’t explored for the past kind of six months. And who knows, maybe 2022 Is my year.”

We’ll have to see what is next for Chelsea Green. Many fans were a bit surprised that AEW didn’t sign her up, but they can’t get everyone that WWE lets go. Still, one would assume that someone with Chelsea Green’s abilities has plenty of things that AEW is looking for as they continue building their women’s division. Stay tuned.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
