Sonya Deville Lays Into Naomi’s Actions During SmackDown

Naomi wants an opportunity on SmackDown, but the company keeps putting her in storylines where she must work for it. Sonya Deville is The Glow’s roadblock at this point, and that resulted in fine on Naomi after she got in Sonya’s face. Naomi also trended throughout the night after WWE handed down that fine.

During Talking Smack this week, Sonya Deville addressed Naomi’s situation. She also made a veiled threat to Naomi that she’s lucky that a fine is all they handed her.

“The way that Naomi talked to me tonight, the way that she treated me tonight, is absolutely unacceptable behavior. Nobody is to talk to a WWE Official in that manner. She is lucky that she got a fine. I don’t know what she thinks stepping to me and getting aggressive in my face is going to do.”

This feud is likely leading to Sonya Deville’s in-ring return. The company discussed making that happen around WrestleMania time, but it didn’t take place. They have also pushed it back a few more times since then.

We’ll pay attention to see how this situation develops. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top as both Deville and Naomi are both in positions where they need a win.
