Brock Lesnar was absent from WWE television after dropping the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36. That changed at WWE SummerSlam, where he made his shocking return to WWE television and confronted Roman Reigns. He officially came back as babyface, much to the delight of fans.

After his thunderous return, many fans expected to see him again but that was not the case as he didn’t appear on the next episode of Friday Night Smackdown after the pay-per-view.

It was then announced that Brock Lesnar will be appearing on the September 10th edition of Friday Night Smackdown at Madison Square Garden. Ever since his return, many fans have wondered whether Paul Heyman will still work with Roman Reigns or not.

While speaking to the New York Post, Paul Heyman hinted at managing both Brock Lesnar as his advocate and Roman Reigns as his special counsel.

“I don’t know if we end up in a situation where Brock Lesnar can’t go after a different championship other than Roman Reigns’ and he can have his advocate and Roman Reigns can have his special counsel. There’s a lot of decisions to be made and there’s a lot of scenarios that can play out and I dare suggest anyone who thinks that they have this figured out doesn’t have a clue as to the twists and turns that could and will come in the near future.”

It remains to be seen whether Paul Heyman will actually manage both Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar in the future, as the current storyline will certainly be full of interesting twists if Paul Heyman is to be believed.
