SummerSlam is this Saturday and the show just got a bit bigger with the announcement of a new musical guest. There was a rumor that Cardi B might host, and even perform at the biggest party of the summer, but her pregnancy put stop to that. Now the company has nailed down DJ Valentino Khan for the event.
The company sent out a social media blast to inform fans that DJ Valentino Khan will perform at SummerSlam. The famous producer will “welcome fans with the hottest hits in music as they arrive at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.”
This is the first time that WWE is holding SummerSlam inside an NFL stadium, and they want to make it the biggest show possible. DJ Valentino Khan was very excited about this gig as he provided a quote to WWE’s website about how his fandom stretches back to his childhood.
“Being part of a WWE event is a childhood dream come true for me. From growing up in The Attitude Era ‘til now, I’ve been a fan all my life and truly have respect for the business. The fact that I get to connect with the WWE Universe through my own music is an incredible full-circle moment. I can’t wait to go hard at SummerSlam in Vegas.”
Khan is an LA-based DJ with credits that include working alongside artists like Lil Pump, French Montana, 2 Chains, T.I, and more. Fans in Allegiant Stadium should be extra pumped for the big show as he brings his own flavor to the setting.
