RAW opens with a look back at last week’s show where Randy Orton returned and turned down Riddle’s offer to be a team again. We go live to the arena in Texas and the Apex Predator comes to the ring.
Randy says people have been asking him all week why he hit Riddle with an RKO. Well he doesn’t need friends, he could have beaten AJ Styles last week without any help. He’s a 14X World Champion and he did it all by himself. He is still the Viper and Monday Night RAW is his territory. Tonight he proves that to the undefeated force of nature, Omos. And what will he do? He’ll put the jackass in his place with an R…K…Bro?
Riddle’s music interrupts Orton and he scoots to the ring. Riddle says he knows why Orton hit him an RKO. He wasn’t good in school but he knows Orton was only trying to show him how to hit a proper RKO. Well now he knows and he thinks they should bring back RK-Bro to teach AJ Styles and Omos a lesson. Before Randy can answer, out comes the RAW Tag Team Champions.
Styles tells Randy to hit Riddle with another RKO and, if possible, hit himself with one as well. Because no-one wants to see RK-Bro. Then Omos will destroy Orton. But Omos can’t have all the fun, so he wants to teach Riddle another lesson and beat him so bad he’ll need his stupid jaw wired shut. Riddle says that’s fine because he has Randy in his corner and he can give him a phenomenal beating courtesy of RK-Bro.
The match gets underway as Randy Orton slowly walks up the ramp and Riddle stares after him. AJ storms Riddle and tries to end the match quickly with a snap suplex. Orton stands on the stage and watches, conflicted. Riddle jumps over AJ and hits a kick to the chest followed by a Broton. Riddle hits a gutwrench suplex for a one-count.
Styles applies an abdominal stretch to Riddle and keeps him in the middle of the ring. Riddle fights free but misses a kick and AJ hits a dragon screw. Riddle rolls-up AJ for a near-fall and he’s limping. Riddle tries to apply an armbar over the ropes but AJ fights it, so Riddle flings him over the ropes instead. Riddle goes to the apron for a penalty kick, then lands a springboard tope.
Back live and Riddle avoids a splash in the corner and lands a German suplex for a near-fall. AJ connects with a flurry of strikes and hits Ushigoroshi for a near-fall. AJ wants the Styles Clash but Riddle flips out and lands a kick to the chest. Riddle jumps for a Broton but AJ avoids it and locks in the Calf Crusher! Riddle manages to eventually reach the bottom rope.
Riddle hits a leaping knee to AJ, then an exploder suplex into the turnbuckles. Riddle goes to the middle rope for the floating bro but Omos walks into his line of sight and distracts him. Styles grabs Riddle off the middle rope and hits the Styles Clash for the win.
Nikki A.S.H. is interviewed backstage about her upcoming match against Rhea Ripley. She says she wears her outfit for herself and everyone like her. It’s just about having the confidence and courage to bring it and then you can be almost a super hero. And she has the confidence that she will defeat Ripley tonight and retain at SummerSlam.
Riddle is watching backstage with his scooter and he’s sad. He’s asked about his loss and Riddle says while Randy as gone he never gave up on RK-Bro. Last week Randy was mean and hit him with an RKO and he still didn’t give up. But leaving him out there tonight… he’s just sad.
Just as the bell rings, Charlotte Flair comes out to watch the match on commentary. They lock-up and Ripley slams Nikki down. Rhea continues to use her strength and throw Nikki around but A.S.H hits a sliced bread bulldog and Ripley rolls out. Nikki goes to the apron and kicks Rhea back, then dives on her with a crossbody before staring at Flair.
Back live and Ripley drops Nikki with a clothesline. Rhea hits a stalling vertical suplex for a two-count. Ripley lifts Nikki into a bear hug. Nikki fights free and hits a wheelbarrow roll-up for two. Nikki goes to the middle rope and lands a tornado DDT for a two-count. Ripley hits a northern lights suplex for a two-count, then hits the Riptide out of nowhere for the win.
After the match Charlotte starts mocking Nikki, but A.S.H dives onto her from ringside and tosses her into the ring. Nikki and Ripley beat on Charlotte and dump her out of the ring.
Jinder Mahal is backstage with Veer and Shanky and he tells them he’s given them the opportunity to make a name for themselves. A chance to sit under his learning tree yet Drew McIntyre is still standing. He tells them to make the Scottish Warrior bow to the modern day Maharaja.
MVP is backstage and Kevin Patrick stops him for an interview. MVP says we can expect two of the most explosive forces in WWE history coming face-to-face tonight. Last time that happened, Goldberg speared him. That was an insult to him and Lashley. And the All Mighty does not care for insults. He assures us Lashley will repay Goldberg.
Drew starts off against Veer and he hits him with a big lariat and backs him into the corner. Veer slaps Drew away and tags the bigger Shanky. They exchange and Shanky tosses Drew to the corner. Shanky punches Drew and boots him down before tagging Veer again. Drew lands some lariats to Veer and punches Shanky on the apron.
McIntyre hits a belly-to-belly and a neckbreaker. Shanky rushes in but Drew hits him with a falcon arrow, then catches Veer with a Future Shock DDT. McIntyre goes to the corner and counts down before hitting a Claymore to Shanky for the win.
After the match Veer tries to get involved again but Drew catches him with a belly-to-belly on the floor. McIntyre lifts Angela and gets a microphone. He says Jinder won’t have his goons at ringside at SummerSlam. Drew translates for Shanky, who says he wishes he was as confident and sexy as McIntyre, and he hopes Drew beats Jinder at SummerSlam.
McIntyre turns serious and asks Jinder what he thought would happen when he screwed him at Money In The Bank. So at SummerSlam he will humilate Jinder and create a moment at his expense. Mahal is a former World Champion in peak physical condition, so it’s not going to be that easy. So McIntyre asks the crowd who they think will win and they unanimously vote for him.
Charlotte Flair interrupts Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville. She’s not happy but they say if she really wants revenge she can have a tag match against Nikki and Ripley tonight. Flair says she doesn’t play well with others but Sonya tells ehr to take it or leave it.
We get another vignette of Elias standing in front of the fire and he tosses his guitar in and reiterates the Elias is dead.
John Morrison is in the ring and welcomes us to the first-ever edition of Moist TV! Two chairs sit between some kiddie pools. JoMo says last week we experienced a moist miracle when The Miz stood from his wheelchair. He hasn’t spoken to The Miz since then but we all want to hear the story and introduces his friend. The Miz dances his way to the ring and sits opposite Morrison, then starts a Moist TV chant.
John Morrison asks Miz if he was pretending to be injured. Miz asks if he’s ever lied to or used Morrison and John says no. Miz asks if he’d ever fake an injury and Morrison hums, so Miz starts to justify himself. Damian Priest comes out and says we all know Miz is a liar. And he likes Moist TV a lot better than Miz’s crap. Before he beats Sheamus at SummerSlam and celebrates in Vegas as the new United States Champion, he’d like Morrison to ask serious questions. Such as, why did Miz fake an injury for months and have Morrison wheel him around.
Miz gets defensive and says he’s never had an injury in his entire career until he met Priest. So when he got injured he didn’t know what to expect but he has a family and he needed to think of them. Yes he was cleared weeks ago but… Morrison is annoyed and Miz says he just had a surge of energy last week. Miz says Priest is trying to spin this and make him look bad. Morrison says what better way for them to mark the debut of Moist TV than to have a match… Damian Priest Vs. The Miz! Miz doesn’t want to but Priest loves the idea. Priest shoves Miz over and he falls into a kiddie pool of water.
We return and The Miz is arguing with the referee, saying he doesn’t want to make his debut in a crap town like San Antonio. Sheamus comes out and joins the commentary team for this match.
The match gets underway and Miz bails, trying to get a high five from Sheamus. Priest goes out and hits a double clap to Miz’s head. Back inside, Miz feigns an injury and Priest punches him. Priest tries to whip him to the ropes but Miz collapses and rolls to the apron. Priest approaches and Miz snaps his neck on the ropes.
Miz goes to the top rope for an axe handle, then dances around as he hits the It Kicks. Priest blocks a kick and starts firing off some of his own, then heel kick. Miz kicks Priest back and asks Morrison for a drip-stick but he doesn’t give it to him. Morrison walks away and Priest drops Miz with a lariat, then hits a Brogue Kick for the win.
After the match, Sheamus stands on the announce desk and tells Priest he’s a disrespectful scumbag. Priest needs to enjoy it because this is his last moment in the spotlight. Sheamus rubs the United States Championship and says this isn’t the fans gold, it’s not Priest’s gold, it his gold. This Saturday he will kick Priest’s head off.
Eva Marie and Doudrop are backstage. Marie is berating Doudrop for losing last week. Before she personally takes care of Alexa Bliss on Saturday, how about Doudrop go to the playground and deal with their other little problem. Doudrop stares at her and Eva tells her to go get Lilly.
John Morrison is backstage and The Miz approaches him, asking why he left him. Morrison says he was hurt when Miz abandoned him and he wants him to know what it feels like. In the background Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods appear with a sign that says “buy our shirt”. Miz convinces Morrison to put it behind them and Morrison names some t-shirt ideas he’s had.
Alexa Bliss and Lilly are backstage and she says she’s very excited to put an end to the Eva-lution. Doudrop appears in the playground and grabs Lilly. Bliss tells her not to do anything and suddenly Doudrop stares at the doll, terrified, and hands it back. Bliss thanks her and tells her she’ll see her on Saturday.
Mansoor tries to shoot for Mace’s leg but gets caught and thrown like a child. Mansoor attempts a wheelbarrow facebuster but Mace counters with a nasty overhead suplex, then goes to a camel clutch. Mansoor fights up but Mace connects with a leg lariat like Booker T. Mansoor looks for a rope-assisted elbow drop but Mansoor avoids him.
Mansoor hits a few lariats and wants a bulldog but gets thrown off. Mansoor avoids Mace in the corner and attempts a sunset flip but Mace sits down for a pin attempt. Unseen to the referee, Ali kicks Mace through the ropes and they flip over for a pin for Mansoor.
AJ Styels and Omos are stopped for an interview backstage. Omos says Randy Orton sees himself as a legend killer but tonight he kills the legend that is Randy Orton. AJ says Omos will be the new legend Killer and he already beat Riddle,s o that must make him the idiot killer. Tonight they celebrate the death of RK-Bro.
The bell rings and they meet in the centre of the ring. Orton attempts an RKO but Omos throws him off. Omos corners Randy and the Viper swings but gets his hand caught. Omos squeezes the hand, then bends Randy’s arms until he gets kicked in the gut. Omos lifts Orton up for a stalling body slam and stands over him. Omos grabs Orton’s head in his hands and squeezes it.
Randy turns around and punches Omos a few times but gets forearmed. Orton is whipped to the corner and Omos runs and Randy avoids him. Orton starts punching but Omos knees him down. Orton avoids Omos a second time and looks for the RKO again and Omos shoves him out of the ring. When the referee is talking to Omos, AJ kicks Orton in the gut but the referee caught him!
Styles argues with the referee but then rolls Randy back inside and tells Omos to beat him outside the ring. Omos takes Randy out of the ring and throws him over the barricade. Omos lifts Orton up and rolls him back into the ring where AJ Styles wants the Phenomenal Forearm. Before he can do it, Riddle comes running out and dropkicks Omos, then hits AJ with a knee and clotheslines him to the outside. Riddle tells Omos to get in the ring but AJ can barely stand and Omos looks after him instead. Omos carries AJ away while Riddle taunts him.
Riddle offers a hand to Randy and the fans chant RK-Bro. Orton accepts the hand and asks for the microphone. Randy says respect isn’t handed out, he needs to earn it. He respected him in the past but that doesn’t mean he does today. But after everything he’s done to him, Riddle keeps having his back so guesss what? He’s got his respect and the fans pop. Orton says RK-Bro is back and hugs Riddle! Riddle says Randy makes him so happy, which means they’re coming for the RAW Tag Team Championship’s!
We see the highlights of Karrion Kross Vs. Jeff Hardy. Jeff is interviewed backstage and asked why he asked for a rematch. Hardy says he’s angry because Kross beat him and left him lying after the match. Well that’s just fine because he’s lived on the edge his whole life. Tonight Kross needs to check his little hourglass beecause his 15 minutes of fame are up. Kross attacks Jeff and shouts “tick-tock” before making his entrance.
Hardy attacks Kross right at the off-set. Hardy hits an inverted atomoc drop, dropkick, and a leg drop. Hardy wants the Twist of Fate but Karrion counters with the Kross-Jacket and Hardy taps.
Eva Marie is waiting for Doudrop and when she appears she berates her for not having it. Eva says this is like a slap in the face, then slaps Doudrop twice and walks off.
We see a video from earlier today where the 24/7 Champion, Reginald, goes to the park. He talks about how much he loved the park and it’s where he became an acrobat. As Reggie is talking, we see R-Truth in the background wearing a ghillie suit. Truth and Akira Tozawa try to attack Reggie but he uses his parkour to avoid them.

Goldberg comes to the ring and the fanc chant his name. He says before things go down, he needs to get something off his chest. For two weeks in a row, Lashley and MVP have brought his son into this. Goldberg introduces his son and the fans cheer. He knows his son can go and watch Goldberg videos online to see who he was. But that isn’t going to cut it, he needs him to see, front and centre, who he still is.
Bobby Lashley’s music hits and out cmes the All Mighty WWE Champion. MVP says Goldberg is doing a lot more talking than normal, and that makes him believe he’s insecure. When Goldberg locked eyes with the All Mighty he saw a man who is stronger, faster, more explosive, and more dangerous than him. Lashley gets in the ring and says he gave Bill every opportunity to walk away and save some face. But he was stubborn, so now he plays by the house rules, and the house always wins.
Lashley’s going to take him to the limit but leave him with just enough left that he can go tell his friends and family who ended his career. Bobby says Bill is standing in the house of the All Mighty. Goldberg simply says that’s bull$hit. Lashley swings but Goldberg avoids him and hits a spear. Goldberg goes out of the ring and his son jumps the barricade so they can leave together. Lashley is furious as Goldberg and Gage watch on from the stage.
