RAW

RAW opens with a look back at last week’s show where Randy Orton returned and turned down Riddle’s offer to be a team again. We go live to the arena in Texas and the Apex Predator comes to the ring.

Randy says people have been asking him all week why he hit Riddle with an RKO. Well he doesn’t need friends, he could have beaten AJ Styles last week without any help. He’s a 14X World Champion and he did it all by himself. He is still the Viper and Monday Night RAW is his territory. Tonight he proves that to the undefeated force of nature, Omos. And what will he do? He’ll put the jackass in his place with an R…K…Bro?

Riddle’s music interrupts Orton and he scoots to the ring. Riddle says he knows why Orton hit him an RKO. He wasn’t good in school but he knows Orton was only trying to show him how to hit a proper RKO. Well now he knows and he thinks they should bring back RK-Bro to teach AJ Styles and Omos a lesson. Before Randy can answer, out comes the RAW Tag Team Champions.

Styles tells Randy to hit Riddle with another RKO and, if possible, hit himself with one as well. Because no-one wants to see RK-Bro. Then Omos will destroy Orton. But Omos can’t have all the fun, so he wants to teach Riddle another lesson and beat him so bad he’ll need his stupid jaw wired shut. Riddle says that’s fine because he has Randy in his corner and he can give him a phenomenal beating courtesy of RK-Bro.

Styles applies an abdominal stretch to Riddle and keeps him in the middle of the ring. Riddle fights free but misses a kick and AJ hits a dragon screw. Riddle rolls-up AJ for a near-fall and he’s limping. Riddle tries to apply an armbar over the ropes but AJ fights it, so Riddle flings him over the ropes instead. Riddle goes to the apron for a penalty kick, then lands a springboard tope.

Riddle is watching backstage with his scooter and he’s sad. He’s asked about his loss and Riddle says while Randy as gone he never gave up on RK-Bro. Last week Randy was mean and hit him with an RKO and he still didn’t give up. But leaving him out there tonight… he’s just sad.

Nikki A.S.H Vs. Rhea Ripley

Just as the bell rings, Charlotte Flair comes out to watch the match on commentary. They lock-up and Ripley slams Nikki down. MVP is backstage and Kevin Patrick stops him for an interview. MVP says we can expect two of the most explosive forces in WWE history coming face-to-face tonight. Last time that happened, Goldberg speared him. That was an insult to him and Lashley. And the All Mighty does not care for insults. He assures us Lashley will repay Goldberg.

2-On-1 Handicap Match

Winner: Drew McIntyre

After the match Veer tries to get involved again but Drew catches him with a belly-to-belly on the floor. McIntyre lifts Angela and gets a microphone. He says Jinder won’t have his goons at ringside at SummerSlam. Drew translates for Shanky, who says he wishes he was as confident and sexy as McIntyre, and he hopes Drew beats Jinder at SummerSlam.

McIntyre turns serious and asks Jinder what he thought would happen when he screwed him at Money In The Bank. So at SummerSlam he will humilate Jinder and create a moment at his expense. Mahal is a former World Champion in peak physical condition, so it’s not going to be that easy. So McIntyre asks the crowd who they think will win and they unanimously vote for him.

Charlotte Flair interrupts Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville. She’s not happy but they say if she really wants revenge she can have a tag match against Nikki and Ripley tonight. Flair says she doesn’t play well with others but Sonya tells ehr to take it or leave it.
