WWE Locker Room Doesn’t Believe Bray Wyatt Was Released Due To ‘Budget Cuts’

Bray Wyatt was released from WWE and a lot of people were shocked. That feeling also extended into the locker room as many as feeling the loss in a big way. Johnny Ace reportedly told Bray Wyatt that his release was due to “budget cuts,” but that’s hard to buy for a lot of people.

According to a report fromFightful, talent was told that Wyatt’s release was due to “budget cuts” as well. A lot of frustration followed that announcement among the roster, staff, and other employees.

It was also reported that the general consensus is that “almost nobody” within WWE believes that Bray Wyatt was actually released due to budget cuts. His merchandise sales speak for itself.

A consensus was that almost nobody in the company truly believed this was a budget cut, citing Wyatt’s popularity, merchandise sales among reasons.

Bray Wyatt was a WWE creation, and now Windham Rotunda is off to do his own thing. WWE will retain any ownership of what was created in their company, so they can always keep marketing the Firefly Fun House merchandise without him.

The decision for WWE to axe Bray Wyatt was not received well within the company at all. Needless to say, the general belief if that there is far more to this story than WWE is letting on.
