AEW has been able to secure some great talent for their Dark shows and Dynamite, but they can’t get them all to stay. Danny Limelight made a few appearances for the company, but his time with them is over now.

Limelight is now with MLW as part of Konnan’s new LAX stable. Click here to find out how Konnan was able to get permission to use that name. The stable means that Limelight has a new pro wrestling home.

While speaking to Indy Mayhem Show, Danny Limelight noted that he has a good relationship with AEW and Tony Khan, but his time with the company is over for now.

“I think for the foreseeable future you’ve seen the last of me in AEW. The door was kept open for a possible return one day. They spoke very highly of my work ethic and my work. I know I have a really good relationship with Tony Khan. He’s an amazing human. He’s an amazing person to work for. I am still able to work for New Japan Pro Wrestling and I’m still able to work for the United Wrestling Network. I’m still able to do my indie dates.”

Limelight didn’t 100% close the door on an AEW return in the future, but he has other priorities right now. We’ll have to see what’s next for him in the pro wrestling world, but AEW fans will have to tune in to watch him do his think for MLW if they want to watch him in action.
