WWE has many Superstars on their roster with pro wrestling in their blood. They have their eye on another second generation wrestler who has already worked a few enhancement matches for the company.

Colby Corino is the son of Steve Corino, and the two will have a match on August 27th. That match will be a one-time deal for his 48-year-old father, because Corino has since moved on from in-ring competition. His son is just getting started.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter made mention of this match and noted that Colby Corino “is on WWE’s radar.” We will have to see how far that gets him, but his connections in the company certainly can’t hurt his chances.

It was also noted that Steve Corino pitched the idea of wrestling his son to WWE and he figured that they would reject it, but they didn’t. Now the two are cutting promos on each other to hype this one-in-a-lifetime match.

Colby Corino is just 25-years-old and he is making a name for himself on the indies. Chances are we could see him appear on WWE television once again soon enough. He might even be under an actual contract next time around.
