Britt Baker has proven time and time again that she is one of the toughest women in pro wrestling today. She was injured during her Fyter Fest match against Nyla Rose, but that won’t stop the AEW Women’s World Champion from doing her job.

Baker suffered a wrist injury and she is now rocking a cast. The extent of her injury was not noted, but it must not be too terrible. That setback will not keep her from in-ring competition as the Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that she will wrestle through her injury.

Britt Baker is working on a broken wrist suffered on the Death Valley bomb spot in the 7/21 match with Nyla Rose. She said she will be working through the injury.

This should come as no real surprise, because Baker was able to appear on television practically every week while rehabbing her nose and knee. Then she returned to reach the top of the women’s division, a spot she isn’t giving up easily

The Bunny and Leyla Hirsch will battle in a championship contender match at AEW Homecoming next week. It was not noted when that AEW Women’s World Title match will take place.

It was also noted that Thunder Rosa is “most likely” going to be Britt Baker’s All Out opponent, so AEW’s resident dentist has a busy schedule ahead of her while she nurses her injury.
