Drake Maverick has been released from WWE before, but they brought him back to NXT. His tag team partner Killian Dain was released from the company in recent memory, but Drake is still around. That won’t stop him from preparing for his next steps.

Maverick has reactivated his YouTube Channel, one he has with his real name James Curtin. So far he has only uploaded a few old TNA videos, but there could be more content to come. He had this channel before, but it’s been inactive for around 7 years.

Drake Maverick re-appeared on NXT last week as he got involved in a skit with LA Knight and Cameron Grimes, two other men who have an extensive history in TNA. Maverick didn’t seem to insert himself into their long term story, because he was only around to offer some help in carrying bags.

We’ll have to see what’s next for Drake Maverick. Hopefully, NXT has a plan to use him. In the meantime, it appears that he could be hedging his bets by getting his YouTube channel back on the algorithm.
