Tonight’s RAW will see the All Mighty WWE Champion, Bobby Lashley, respond to the SummerSlam challenge put forth by Goldberg last week. MVP and Lashley seemed uninterested in the challenge last week but we know it’s going to happen one way or another, maybe Goldberg will have to force the Champion’s hand.

As for the rest of the show, the new RAW Women’s Champion, Nikki A.S.H, will celebrate her surprising title win last week. Having just won the Money In The Bank, Nikki cashed-in on Charlotte Flair in the main event, and tonight she celebrates. Elsewhere, AJ Styles and Omos will defend the RAW Tag Team Titles against The Viking Raiders, Mansoor and Ali will debut as a tag team, and we’re likely to see more of Riddle, Drew McIntyre, and Rhea Ripley. And who knows, maybe a wild Keith Lee will make an appearance.

RAW

This week’s RAW opens with a look back at Charlotte Flair Vs. Rhea Ripley at Money In The Bank, and again at the close to last week’s show. We go live to the arena and the new RAW Women’s Champion, Nikki Almost a Super Hero (A.S.H), comes to the ring.

Nikki says she’s always wanted to say this: welcome to Monday Night RAW! She’s so happy everyone is back together and she’s the new RAW Women’s Champion. The fans chant “you deserve it” and she says it feels like a dream. In the past when she’s reached for the stars she didn’t have the confidence to succeed but then she realised failing isn’t a big deal, she’s still herself. Her outfit gives her the confidence and reminds everyone that they can overcome the odds.

Charlotte Flair comes to the ring and condescends Nikki, saying she’s living a fairytale. But it won’t have a happy ending. In fact, she’s a disgrace to WWE. Flair says as far as she is concerned, you have to work to be a Champion. She brings star power and perspective to the ring. Charlotte says Rhea Ripley couldn’t handle losing last week, so she reacted her like a spoiled child. And she isn’t one to complain but the referee didn’t even wait for her to get to her feet to start their match. So Nikki stole her title but it’s fine because she will take it right back at SummerSlam. Charlotte blames the fans and says they’re all jealous of her.

Rhea Ripley interrupts the Queen and coes to the ring to a great reaction. Rhea says nobody is jealous of Charlotte. She had the Women’s Championship for just about a day. And last week she got herself intentionally disqualified because she knew she was going to lose. Ripley says she is the one who deserves to beat Nikki at SummerSlam. Nikki says the two of them represented the division greatly, but as the butterfly on her chest suggests, the division needs a metamorphosis. Charlotte says she’s sick of the delusion.

Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville come to the stage as the girls are arguing. Deville says the only fair thing to do is to book a Triple Threat match for the title at SummerSlam. Deville says it gives both Charlotte and Rhea a chance and Flair says that’s a joke. She wants a match against Nikki tonight to prove she isn’t in her league. Nikki says she’s on and Pearce makes it official. Charlotte attacks Ripley and knocks her from the ring but Nikki then dropkicks Flair out of the ring and poses with the title.

We see a video of Damian Priest from earlier today, in which he says Sheamus isn’t a real Champion. A real Champion defends his title and Sheamus runs from his opponents. There will be no running when he gets in the ring with Sheamus. And that match is up next!
