WWE wishes that they could have The Rock around all the time, but they will take him when they can get him. The Great One is expected to make a return and be at Survivor Series. Also, WrestleMania seems like a very safe bet next year in Dallas.

There are backup plans for The Rock which might protect him from having a singles match. Apparently, adding The Usos to the mix is not the working plan. WWE knows what kind of money match they need to sell 100,000 tickets in Dallas.

WrestleMania will see The Rock vs Roman Reigns according to Andrew Zarian on the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast. He said those are the plans on paper right now.

“By the way, Rock vs Roman, that is what is soft on paper for the main event in Dallas. I mean, Dallas, 100,000 people, you need the freaking Rock.”

The Rock is also expected at Survivor Series, but it is unknown what he will do there. Dwayne Johnson just showing up to make his presence known could be a huge deal for the company. Now we will have to wait and see what Vince McMahon can come up with as they build toward some very promising situations in the future.
