Bobby Lashley had a very impressive showing at Money in the Bank. He took out Kofi Kington in definitive fashion. On WWE Raw the next night, he issued an open challenge.

The Dallas crowd was pumped to welcome The All Mighty, but he was there for business reasons. The WWE Champion was ready to accept a new challenge, and fans were excited to see what WWE had in store as SummerSlam approaches.

Lashley said he did all the talking he needed to do when he destroyed Kofi Kingston at Money in the Bank. MVP buried Dallas’ sports teams, “because it’s been decades since you’ve seen a winner,” he said.

MVP then said that anyone who faces Lashley from now on will be annihilated. He said “no more bullsh*t” once again, and he continued to praise Bobby Lashley in a huge way, dragging out the time a bit more.

When the time finally came for someone to accept the open challenge, there was silence. Suddenly, Keith Lee made his way to the ring. We haven’t seen Keith Lee since January’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. He was slated to be in the United States Title match, but he was pulled. Then he vanished.

There were a lot of questions about Keith Lee’s absence, and many wondered if he would return. Those questions were answered this week.

This was a big surprise, and one that Bobby Lashley certainly wasn’t expecting. Keith Lee returned to WWE RAW in his home state of Texas.
