AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest Results for July 14, 2021

It’s Wednesday and you know what that means. AEW Dynamite “Fyter Fest – Night 1” will go down tonight and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage.

JR welcomes us to the show as Justin Roberts does the official ring introductions for the IWGP US Title match. The champion, Jon Moxley, is the first man out, walking through the crowd accompanied by Eddie Kingston. Karl Anderson with Doc Gallows makes his entrance next. Kingston attacks Gallows at ringside with a pipe.

Moxley attacks Anderson, elbows in the corner, Kingston and Gallows brawl through the crowd. Anderson with a boot, right hands back and forth, Moxley gets the upper hand. Anderson with an uppercut, chop in the corner, Moxley hits a headbutt and sends Anderson out of the ring. Anderson driven into the barricade, Anderson with a suplex on the ramp. Moxley thrown into the barricade.

Moxley hits right hands and bites Anderson on the barricade. Anderson hits a cutter on the ropes and then a huge big boot sending Moxley out of the ring. Anderson hits a spinebuster for a 2 count. Moxley rakes the back of Anderson and then hits a superplex. Moxley with a German Suplex, clothesline, both men hit a clothesline, and then again. Moxley locks in a sleeper, then Anderson hits a piledriver, 2 count. Anderson with a cutter from the top rope, another 2 count.

Moxley with a discus clothesline, then Anderson hits the Gun Stun, Moxley rolls to the ropes. Anderson hits a stunner, 2 count. Moxley counters another gun Stun, then hits the Paradigm Shift to get the victory.

WINNER: Jon Moxley

Backstage, Archer says Moxley took the IWGP US title from him, its time for his rematch. Next week in a Texas Death Match!

Ricky Starks makes his entrance. Tazz is on commentary and Hook and Powerhouse Hobbs are at ringside. Brain Cage makes his entrance.

Cage hits big right hands, Cage hits a huge gorilla press slam. Starks driven into opposite corners, Cage with boots in the corner, powerslam from Cage, 2 count. Starks with kicks to the bicep. Missile dropkick from Starks. Picture in picture, Starks continues to work on the bicep. Starks bites on Cage’s fingers and is disgusted at the taste,

More work on the bicep, Starks gets a roll up and Cage kicks out at 2. Starks goes for a crossbody, Cage catches him with one hand and does curls. Cage with a huge shoulder block. Starks leaves the ring and picks up the FTW title. Cage with a knee to the gut, throws Starks into the ring post. Starks with a dropkick.

Back in the ring, Starks goes for a rear naked choke, Cage powers out, driving Starks into the corner, Cage hits a michinoku driver, Starks gets hit foot on the ropes at 2. Cage with a huge superkick, 2 count. Starks hits a sit out powerbomb, 2 count. Starks goes for the title again, Hobbs pulls it away. Cage hits an F5, Starks kicks out at 2. Hook distracts the ref, Hobbs hits Cage with the belt, Starks hits a spear and gets the victory!

Team Tazz celebrate at ringside.

Cody Rhodes walks out and grabs the commentary headset. Cody intensely shouts at Malakai Black for kicking Arn Anderson last week. Cody grabs a live mic, says he doesn’t win every fight but he has a better chance when he knows its coming. He feels like fighting. Black is in a fog shrouded backstage area, tells a story about an old horse having to be put down. When he looks Cody and Arn in the face last week he didn’t see anything. Cody says come get a closer look. Black says he was hoping he would say that. The lights go out and Black appears in the ring. They brawl as trainers and referee try to break up the fight.

Alex Marvez is backstage with Tully Blanchard. Santana and Ortiz interrupt, they threaten Tully, say they were taught to respect their elders now look at him.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring, he introduces Hangman Page. Page comes out looking fired up. Tony asks about Omega, Page says since day 1 he wanted to be AEW World Champion, he got close but he failed. He tried to run from it, hide from it but he still need that championship. He is here tonight to challenge for the AEW title! Don Callis interrupts with the Elite, says he is all hat and no cattle. He knows he is not that guy, all the Elite says he knows he isn’t that guy. Matt Jackson gets in the ring with Page, says Page abandoned them, it blows his mind Page left him for a bunch of losers. Matt says he can tell Page is still hitting the bottle. Page is the next great wrestling tragedy. Page attacks Matt, then all the rest of the Elite. Omega appears behind Page with the title, the Dark Order run out to protect Page.

The Elite flee, Page says he came here tonight for a match. Omega says they can do that, The Ark Order vs The Elite in a 5 on 5 elimination match! Page says that’s not the match they wanted but that is the match they will get. If Dark Order and Page win they get a tag title match and Page gets the World Title Match. Omega says he will consider it but if the Elite win, the Dark Order and Page will lose their shots at the titles. Omega says Page is afraid of failing, the crowd chant “Cowboy Shit”, if Page is cool with that then so are the Elite. Page says they are on.

Alex Marvez is backstage with Chris Jericho, Jericho says MJF is an intelligent man, he should know the Hercules won his labours and that is exactly what will happen with Jericho. Jericho says he will walk through fire, over broken glass and will ruin MJF’s life. Shawn Spear and MJF attacks Jericho. MJF says Jericho’s first labour will be against Spears, the stipulation being Spears can use chairs while Jericho can not.

Matt Hardy makes his entrance for our next match. Christian Cage is out next.

Lock up to start, Cage driven to the corner, they fall to the outside and are still locked up. Cage gets a headlock, right hand, drops Hardy on the apron, throws Hardy to the barricade. cage climbs to the top and hits a crossbody on Matt on the outside. Cage with a reverse DDT, 2 count. Cage with 10 shots in the corner, Hardy hits a DDT on the steel steps!

Hardy with an elbow, chokes cage on the bottom rope, neckbreaker, 2 count. Hardy with a catapult on the middle rope, elbow from the second rope, 2 count. Picture in picture. Hardy continues the attack on the outside, Hardy gets a sleeper in the ring, Hardy smashes Cages face into the turnbuckle. Cage knocks Hardy off the second rope, right hand, chokes Hardy on the second rope, big right hand. Uppercut, 2 count. Cage counters a Twist of Fate, Hardy counters a spear, Cage hits a second spear, 2 count.

Cage with a neckbreaker on the ropes, hits a frog splash, 2 count. Hardy hits a superplex, 2 count. Cage with a inside cradle, 2 count. Cage goes for a killswitch, Hardy distracts the ref, hits a low blow, Cage kicks out at 2! Hardy locks in the Leech on the outside. Hardy tells the ref to count while Cage is unconscious. Cage gets in at 9! Cage hits the killswitch and gets the victory.

Private Party run down to attack Christian but Jurassic Express chase them off.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring, he introduces Britt Baker. Bakers says she always comes out the baddest bitch on the block. If you see fear you better look again. Nyla is at the top of the food chain but Britt is off the menu. Baker says Vickie’s last name will keep her relevant, but Nyla doesn’t. Vickies says Bakers days as champion are numbered. Nyla says everything has been handed to Baker, and she will hand her a ass whipping, that is the nature of the beast.

Jon Moxley says he survived tonight and he will survive Lance Archer. He is not the hunted, he is the hunter, next week, Archer wont just be Texas born and bread, he will be Texas dead!

Wheeler Yuta makes his entrance accompanied by the Best Friends. Bunny and the Blade are watching from the front row. Sammy Guevara is out next to a huge reaction.

Lock up to start, Yuta with a shoulder block, Guevara hits a dropkick. Guevara shows off with a springboard, Yuta with a back elbow, Guevara hits a powerslam, misses two moonsault but hits a third, 2 count. Guevara goes for a shooting star press but Yuta gets the knees up. Yuta with a missile dropkick, german suplex, huge splash from the top, Guevara kicks out at 1! Guevara no sells some strikes, chops, back body drop. Guevara with an enziguri, springboard cutter, GTH for the victory.

WINNER: Sammy Guevara

Sammy shows respect to Yuta.

Tony Schiavone is backstage with the Factory. QT pours his drink of Schiavone’s head after Schiavone asks about his loss.

Penelope Ford makes her entrance. Yuka Sakazaki make her entrance for the first time in 16 months.

Sakazaki with an armdrag, another armdrag, headlock, Sakazaki whipped into the corner, Sakazaki gets a knee, dropkick and Ford falls out of the ring. Sakazaki with a cannon ball for the second rope to the outside. Sakazaki gets a cover, Ford kicks out at 1. Ford chokes Sakazaki in the ropes. Picture in picture. Ford with a springboard, elbow, a boot across the jaw. Ford hits a belly to belly suplex,

Ford with a double knee drop on the apron. Sakazaki thrown into the barricade. 2 count on Sakazaki, Ford locks in an Indian death lock. Sakazaki crawls to the ropes. Ford drags Sakazaki back into the middle and lock in another Indian Death lock. Sakazaki gets to the ropes again. Strikes back and forth, Sakazaki hits a suplex, Sakazaki with a sliding knee, 2 count. High knee in the corner, diving back elbow, 2 count. Ford with two pump kicks, 2 count.

Sakazaki with an aeroplane spin, hits the Magical Girl Splash to get the win.

Justin Roberts goes through the rules of a Coffin Match. You win by throwing you opponent into the coffin and closing the lid. The Coffin is brought down to the ring. Ethan Page makes his entrance. Darby Allin is out next and skateboards down to the ring.

Coffin Match: Darby Allin vs. Ethan Page

Allin start quick with a running elbow. Allin reveals he has a steel plate on his back and hits a backwards senton. Allin with a suicide dive to the outside. Scorpio Sky jumps out of the coffin and attacks Allin. Sting comes out to a huge ovation and attacks Sky. Sting throws Sky into the barricade. Sting and Sky brawl into the crowd. Sting misses a Sting Splash, but Sting crotches Sky on the barricade.

Inside the ring, Page has unhooked the bottom rope. Picture in picture. Page and Allin brawl into the crowd as well. Allin dives off the stands but Page catches him and throws him into the wall. Page throws Allin off the stands onto the floor. Page with a boot sending Allin back to ringside. Page throws the steel steps into the ring.

Page throws Allin face first into the steel steps. Page puts the hook of the turnbuckle around the chain on Allin neck and whips him to the mat. Allin puts the hook in Page mouth, dropkicks the steps into Page, Page falls into the coffin feet first. Both men brawl inside the coffin, Page with right hands, Allin bites the hand. Page back body drops Allin to the floor. Page has been busted open.

Allin hits the stunner, Page hits Ego’s Edge from the top onto the steel steps! Allin gauges the eyes of Page, Allin gets his skateboard, jumps from he top onto Pages back, Page falls into the coffin, Allin closes the Coffin to get the win.

WINNER: Darby Allin

Darby celebrates, he pulls the coffin closer to the turnbuckles, he then hits the coffin drop from the top rope onto the coffin, breaking the coffin lid and landing on Ethan Page. Dynamite ends with with crowd chanting “Darby!”
