• Andrade El Idolo vs. Matt Sydal

• MJF meet Chris Jericho face to face

Cody Rhoades is the first man out for tonight’s Road Rager in Miami. Winner of the Strap match must touch all 4 turnbuckles in a row. QT Marshall is already in the ring. The referee tries to get both men to the strap. Cody hits a suicide dive before he gets strapped in.

Strap Match: Cody Rhodes vs. QT Marshall

Cody takes the advantage, pulls QT into the ropes using the strap. QT hit with a powerslam. Cody whips QT with the strap, QT misses a cutter, Cody whips QT with the4 strap while he was going for a moonsault. Cody with more whips across the back. Cody touches the first turnbuckle, then the second. Aaron Solow attacks Cody to stop him hitting the third. Dustin Rhodes runs out and attacks Solow, throwing him into the crowd and they brawl through the crowd.

QT hits a low blow with the strap, QT with whips across the back. QT chokes Cody with the strap. QT touches the fir4st turnbuckle, Cody also touches it. QT and Cody touch the second and third, Cody tries to take down QT, both men get caught in the strap, QT hits a back body drop and the ref voids the count. Cody pulls QT into the ring post using the strap.

QT has been busted open. Cody touches the first turnbuckle, the lights go out. When they come back on, nothing happens. QT punches Cody with the strap wrapped around his fist. QT chokes Cody with the strap, Cody hits QT with the strap, Cody chokes QT with the strap on the top rope. QT hits a sit out powerbomb from the top rope. QT touches the first turnbuckle, then the second, Cody blocks the third. QT wraps Cody up in the strap, puts him on the top rope. QT hits the diamond cutter from the top rope. QT tocuhes the first turnbuckle, then the second, then the third, Cody uses the strap to stop him touching the fourth. QT whips Cody, Cody asks for more, then more he hulks up, pump kick, right hand, hip toss, head scissors, whips to QT’s back.

Cody cutter on QT. Cody touches the first turnbuckle, then the second, then the third, Cody hits QT with a low blow, QT still stops Cody from touches the fourth. Qt spits in Cody’s face, Cody hits the crossrhodes 3 times, and touches all four turnbuckles to get the win.

WINNER: Cody Rhodes

Commentary runs down tonight’s card. Recap of last weeks main event. Earlier today, Spears asks why he cost Sammy the match last week. Sammy ego was his greatest weakness, Sammy hits Spears from out of nowhere with a chair, Sammy says this is far from over.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring and introduces the AEW World Champion, Kenny Omega and Don Callis. Callis asks Tony to stand in the corner, in the last few months they have made history. The crowd chants “you got fired”, Omega defeated Moxley, Fenix, Jungle Boy. They have won so many title they need an entourage to move the belts, we are in the shadow of the god on pro wrestling. They have beaten everybody, there is nobody left. The crowd chants “Hangman”, “We want Hangman”.

Dark Orders music hits, Evil Uno says he has a few questions. Why are you ignoring this crowd? Why are you ignoring the number 1 rank? Why are you so afraid of my friend? Crowd chants “Cowboy Shit”. Omega says he ahs a question, “What is the capital of Tailand?” Omega hits a low blow, “its Bangkok.” Dark Order runs down to attack Omega. The Elite runs down and beat up the Dark Order.

Hangman Page’s music hits, he runs down and takes out the Elite single handedly! Hangman sets up for the Buckshot, but stares down Omega instead, they go face to face, Omega runs away while anderson distracts Hangman.

JR sits down with Ethan Page and Darby Allin. JR says he is disgusted and uneasy with them trying to end each others career. Allin says Page is jealous of him reaching the same point in their career after 1 year compared to Page’s 12. The fact that Darby made it to AEW before Page eats him up inside. Page says he plucked Darby from obscurity. Page says he brought Darby into this business and next week in the coffin match he will take him out of this business.

The Pinnacle make their entrance for our next match, a trios match. The Inner Circle are out next, accompanied by Konnan.

Santana, Ortiz, and Jake Hager (w/Konnan) vs. Wardlow and “FTR” Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler (w/Tully Blanchard)

Dax and Santana start, Santana with right hands, big boot, suplex, into the 3 amigos, then a German suplex. Ortiz tags in, hits a superkick, Santana hits a standing moonsault, Ortiz with a Northern lights suplex. Cash tags in, hits a powerslam, 1 count. Wardlow tags in, gut wrench powerslam for a 2 count. Dax tags in, Ortiz hits a back heel trip, into a powerbomb, kick to the face from Santana, Hager hits the Hager bomb, clotheslines FTR out of the ring. Picture in picture.

Wardlow beats down on Santana, suplex, Dax tags in, chops in the corner, Cash tags in, Santana hits a cutter. Ortiz tags in, runs wild, with heavy shots, enziguri takes down Wardlow, Hager with a clothesline, cannon ball from Santana, Hager with a powerslam, 2 count as Wardlow breaks the count. FTR with right hand/lariat combo, dragon suplex, 2 count. Ortiz with a brainbuster, Hager tags in, clothesline, Hager bomb, ankle lock, Dax breaks the submission. Hager with a big boot.

Wardlow tags in, right hands back and forth, Hager gets the ankle lock, Dax breaks it, Hager fights off both FTR, FTR hit the big rig on Hager, Wardlow gets the cover and the victory.

WINNER: The Pinnacle

Konnan hits Wardlow with a sock full of pool balls to little effect. Tully Blanchard hits a chock block on Konnan, the Pinnacle leave.

Karl Anderson with a video package focusing on Jon Moxley’s IWGP US title. MJF makes his entrance.

Judas plays to bring out Chris Jericho. The crowd sings Judas. MJF shouts to cut it, Jericho tries to attack MJF. They both sit at opposite ends of a table. MJF says Jericho is begging for another match, everybody wants a piece of MJF. Jericho says he wont back down from MJF, he will take any stipulation in offers including having sex with MJF’s mother. The crowd chant “Fuck his mom”. MJF gets pissed off, but insisted he will stay calm. MJF says he used to look up to Jericho, he remembers Jericho’s rivalry with Moxley, Jericho made Moxley wrestle every single person in the Inner Circle. MJF says Jericho is no longer in the key demo, So MJF’s stipulation will be facing 4 opponents of MJF’s choosing. The fifth will be MJF himself. Jericho says if he cant lasts MJFs labours of Hercules, he doesn’t deserve to be in AEW. Jericho says he is the god of war, he will beat MJF and try to ruin MJF’s life and that ain’t no mythology. Jericho signs the contract. MJF says a deal isn’t done until both parties shake hands. Jericho shakes his hand and then hits him with a Judas Elbow.

Earlier today, Tony Schiavone was with Britt Baker. Baker says nobody wanted to see the match last week. The only positive was that they won. Rebel, an innocent was hurt. Vickie should enjoy her blood money, so maybe they should run in Saudi Arabia. Nyla will never get this title back, she will send Nyla back to obscurity, they will be calling Dallas the big DMD.

Matt Sydal makes his entrance. Vickie Guerrero accompanies Andrade El Idolo to the ring. Andrade wears a mask for his entrance.

Andrade El Idolo vs. Matt Sydal

Lock up to start, Sydal almost gets a rollup, Andrade hits a twisting Brainbuster. Andrade hits a moonsault, 2 count. Sydal with a mariposa, Andrade with a rollup, 2 count. Sydal with kicks to the hamstring, Andrade pushes Sydal off the top rope to the outside. Picture in picture.

Andrade hits the 3 amigos, Right hands back and forth, Andrade misses a knee in the corner, Sydal with a spinning heel kick, Andrade with a chop, Sydal with kicks, rollup, 2 count. Sydal with a high knee, Andrade with a huge lariat. Andrade does the Eddie taunt, Sydal follows him to the top, Andrade goes for a diving foot stomp but misses, Sydal hits a meteora for a 2 count. Andrade hits the knees in the corner, Hammerlock DDT for the victory.

WINNER: Andrade El Idolo

Tony Schiavone is in the ring with Arn Anderson. Arn says its great to be in Miami, the lights go out… as they come back on Tommy End is in the ring! He hits the black mass on Arn Anderson! Cody Rhodes is suddenly out there, he gets hits with the Black Mass! Excalibur calls him Malakai Black.

Earlier tonight, Ricky Starks introduces Starks Personal security, says he cant trust Brain Cage, Tazz says he is embarassing, Starks says next week he will become FTW champion. the W stands for wife and he will take Cages wife. Cage runs down and attacks Starks.

The Bunny and the Blade make their entrance. Orange Cassidy and Kris Statlander are out next. The ref finds brass knucks on Blades attire. Bunny goes for a strike on Orange, Orange puts his hands in his pockets and does hits kicks.

Mixed Tag Match: Orange Cassidy and Kris Statlander vs. The Blade and The Bunny

Blade attacks Orange, powerslam, Orange hits stundog millionaire. Bunny goes for a strike on Orange, Orange puts his hands in his pockets and does hits kicks. and Bunny tag in, Bunny with a knee lift, Statlander hits a delayed vertical suplex. Statlander misses a senton, Blade grabs Statlander’s boot, Bunny with a cheap shot to the back of the head. Picture in picture.

Bunny rakes the back, Statlander with strikes, Bunny hits a lariat, 2 count. Bunny gets a headlock, Bunny with a kick to the back. Bunny taunts Orange, Statlander with a right hand. Strikes back and forth, Statlander hits an enziguri, 2 count. Blade takes out Orange, Bunny hits a german suplex from the second rope. Blade tags in, Statlander stands up to Blade, Orange hits a crossbody, tornado DDT, 2 count. Bunny knocks Orange off the top rope.

Statlander hits Area 451 on Blade, Oragne covers him, Bunny breaks the count. Blade gets brass knucks, he hits Orange with the knucks before Orange can hit the Orange punch. he goes for the cover, but Statlander had made the tag, Statlander hits the big bang theory on Bunny to get the victory.

Earlier today, Jungle Boy was awarded a trophy for being the first to get to 50 wins in AEW.

Tony Schiavone is in the crowd with Dan Lambert and American Top Team. Lambert, introduces MMA fighters. Lambert gets in the ring, says he was sceptical of coming here today. He was sceptical of coming here because AEW sucks! If he wanted to watch wrestling, he would break out videos from the 70s and 80s. The sad truth is wrestling has gone down hill since the late 80s. Lambert says you should always trust your instincts, Lance Archer runs down and attacks Dan Lambert and hits the Blackout!

The Young Buck are out next accompanied by Don Callis and Brandon Cutler. The Buck have shaved off their moustaches from last week.

Street Fight for the AEW World Tag Titles: The Young Bucks vs. Eddie Kingston and Penta El Zero Miedo

Kingston throws a trashcan at Nick to start the match. Huge brawl on the outside, Matt hits a dive to the outside. Nakazawa hold back Kingston, the Bucks go for a superkick but Kingston moves and they hit Nakazawa. Kingston and Penta face down Cutler, the Bucks attack from behind with chairs. The Bucks play to the crowd, both Bucks get hit with drop toes holds onto a chair. Penta hits a foot stomp on the chair to Nick.

Kingston and Penta get tables. Kingston tears his table apart while Penta sets his up at ringside. Nick powerbombs Kingston onto an upside down table, Penta hits a destroyer from the apron onto the table at ringside. Nick kicks a trashcan into Penta’s face. Picture in picture.

Kingston absorbs trashcan shots, hits strikes on Nick, Nick hits a running boot. Cutler sprays Matt with cold spray. Nicks hits Penta with a trashcan. Nick and Cutler set up a table at ringside. Kingston catches Nick and hits an exploder suplex. Kingston runs into a table in the corner as Nick moves out of the way. Nick with high knees in the corner, bulldog, and a trashcan shot while Kingston is down.

Nick hits a swanton on a trashcan on Kingston, 2 count. Penta hits a superkick on Nick, slingblade to both Bucks, Penta with a superkick on Matt, Matt hits a northern lights suplex on Penta. Bucks hits a cannonball in the corner on Kingston. Penta knocks Nick off the top rope, tornado DDT to Matt, Kingston locks in a rear naked choke, Nick hits a 450 on the ref while Matt taps out. Anderson and Gallows comes down, they attack Penta and Kingston. Penta hits a dive to both Good Brothers. Matt hits a spear on Kingston, Cutler misses the spray on Penta, KAz comes out and powerbombs Cutler through the table. Pent hits a fear factor, Kingston pins him but there is no ref.

A ref runs down but Nick stops him from counting 3. Kaz takes out Nick, rolls him into the ring, Good Brothers hit the magic killer on Kaz. Kingston pours thumb tacks on the floor. Matt throws tacks into Kingston face, Penta hits Matt with a trashcan. Penta kicks Nick on the apron, Nick hits a huricanrana on Penta on the tacks! Penta kicks out at 2! Double superkick to Kingston, Nick puts tacks in Kingston mouth, Matt hits a superkick and the Bucks get the 3 count.

WINNER: The Young Bucks

The Elite celebrate on the ramp as Dynamite goes off the air.
