Konnan surprised fans when he showed up to Daily’s Place for Saturday Night Dynamite last week. This resulted in a beatdown from FTR, but the legend was cutting it close in terms of travel.

According to F4Wonline, due to a travel situation with curfew at the San Diego Airport, Konnan had to fly out out on Saturday morning to Orlando. Then he drove from Orlando to Jacksonville, just making the start of his segment by 45 minutes.

Because of a curfew at the San Diego Airport, Konnan had to fly on Saturday to Orlando, drive to Jacksonville, which was two hours and got there 45 minutes before his segment started. He didn’t even know his segment until arriving so it was all put together not on the fly, but with almost no lead time.

Konnan made quite an impression as he was brought back for fodder in FTR’s quest to be ultimate heels in the company. We’ll have to see what’s next for him, but he is certainly welcome to take part in more AEW angles as far as we’re concerned. Hopefully, he won’t have such an issue with travel this time around.
