Karrion Kross Believes NXT Will Produce The Next John Cena & Roman Reigns

Karrion Kross is currently the NXT Champion and has been on the receiving end of a great push after he came back from a shoulder injury. He is an imposing force in the company and Kross now has a solid fan following.

NXT is touted as one of the best pro wrestling shows in the industry right now as it has produced many great Superstars who went on to be successful on the main roster. The Rock and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin are undoubtedly two of the biggest names in all of pro wrestling. John Cena would then replace them as the face of the company, a role he held for well over a decade.

While speaking on Corey Graves’ After The Bell podcast, Karrion Kross talked about the NXT brand, where he predicted that the brand will produce the next John Cena, Roman Reigns and more.

“To me, NXT has always been the face of the future. I really truly believe that. I believe that anyone that’s going to do anything in WWE for the future, to be the next Cena, to be the next Reigns, the next Steve Austin, the next Rock, that whole line-up of people. I feel like these people are gonna come from NXT.”

While there is certainly merit to what Karrion Kross said as NXT certainly has produced some top-class Superstars, it is not known whether any of the future stars will ever reach the heights of the likes of John Cena and The Rock.
