WWE is bringing fans back for WrestleMania, but that doesn’t mean the week will be the same for indie groups wanting to hold shows around Mania. In fact, things haven’t been going that well.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, other than Bloodsport and Spring Break, no event sold out their second row. Many events didn’t sell out the first row.

It was said that GCW promoter Brett Lauderdale hoped to sell 1,000 tickets for Spring Break. Last year’s advanced sales pegged the same venue with 4,000 fans if they would have been able to do the show.

WWE isn’t filling up Raymond James Stadium, but they even have some tickets still available for WrestleMania. We’ll have to see if indie events start filling up as the world continues opening. WrestleMania weekend was apparently too early for some fans to start going to non-WWE WrestleMania weekend events.
